Abstract: A magnetic bubble domain system using dual size bubble domains which can exist in a magnetic sheet at the same time, and which can be manipulated without changing their character. Additionally, they can be changed from one to another and back again in a very simple way. Means are shown for generating bubbles having two different sizes, for switching one domain to the other and vice versa, for propagating the domains, and for sensing them. A particularly useful display is also shown.
