Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a suspending polymer composition comprising a blend of: (i) about 40 to about 80 wt. % of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC); (ii) about 10 to about 30 wt. % of xanthan gum; and (iii) about 10 to about 30 wt. % of cetyl-hydroxy ethyl cellulose (cetyl-HEC) for use in personal care or home care compositions. The suspending polymer composition preferably is free of acrylates, methacrylates and derivatives thereof.
