摘要： Apparatus for treatment of textile fibers and fabrics in a confined zone formed by an even number of at least two interengaging pairs of parallel rolls which cooperate with two end plates in sealing contact with the ends of the interengaging pairs of rolls, and means connecting the confined zone with at least a source of reduced pressure and use of such apparatus in apparatus means for crimping protein fibers comprising in combination means for impregnating the fibers with an aqueous solution containing an alcohol; means for storing the impregnated fibers to allow penetration of the impregnating solution; means for drafting the fibers and means for setting and drying the fibers.
