Abstract: Technology for a user equipment (UE) operable to process scheduled uplink (UL) transmissions is disclosed. The UE can process one or more uplink (UL) grants received from an eNodeB on a downlink (DL) subframe in a first transmission opportunity (TxOP). The UE can determine, based on the one or more UL grants, one or more UL subframes in at least one subsequent TxOP for an UL transmission from the UE. The UE can process the UL transmission for communication on the one or more UL subframes in the at least one subsequent TxOP.

Abstract: Technology for contention free physical uplink shared control channel (PUSCH) transmission using listen before talk procedure is disclosed. In an example, an apparatus of a user equipment (UE) having circuitry configured to achieves low latency synchronization with an anchor enhanced Node (eNB) by sensing for a predetermined time period if any physical uplink shared channels (PUSCH) are idle with the anchor eNB for uplink (UL) synchronization; providing a unique UE identification in a PUSCH transmission; and communicating the PUSCH transmission in one of the idle PUSCH channels for contention free communication with the anchor eNB for uplink synchronization.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides for a user equipment (UE) operating in an unlicensed spectrum in time division duplex (TDD). Operating a UE in an unlicensed spectrum in TDD can comprise generating a bitmap message. Generating a bitmap message can include accessing a bitmap comprising a plurality of positions based on a plurality of supported HARQ processes including the HARQ process, mapping a HARQ process identifier (ID) of the HARQ process to a position from the plurality of positions of the partitioned bitmap, and generating a bitmap message comprising the ACK/NACK message in the position of the bitmap corresponding to the HARQ process ID.

Abstract: An apparatus for use in an eNB, the apparatus includes circuitry to generate an assignment of one or more interlaces to a UE within a cell managed by the eNB, where the one or more interlaces are selected from a total number of interlaces, and an interlace of the total number of interlaces may include multiple resource blocks spanning within a system bandwidth. The circuitry included in the apparatus is further to encode the assignment by a bit string including one or more bits, which may be a bitmap or an encoding bit string. The circuitry included in the apparatus is further to transmit the bit string to the UE. Other embodiments may also be described and claimed.

Abstract: Radio frame configuration circuitry for use in a device of a wireless communication system is provided. The radio frame configuration circuitry uses control circuitry to select between a plurality of different time-division duplex, TDD, configurations for a radio frame having slots with a configured duration. Transceiver circuitry performs TDD communications based on selections made by the control circuitry such that an average periodicity of switching between transmission of information and reception of information during the TDD communication is the same despite switching between different ones of the plurality of different TDD configurations. The radio frame configuration circuitry can be incorporated in a UE or an eNodeB or a Peer Radio Head. A corresponding method is provided.
