Abstract: According to various examples, a communication terminal is described comprising a transceiver configured to perform a first attempt for selection of or reselection to a target radio cell, a measurement circuit, configured to measure, if the first attempt fails, a reception quality of the target cell, a memory configured to store an indication of the measured reception quality and a controller configured to determine a time for a second attempt for selection of or reselection to the target radio cell based on the stored indication and to control the transceiver to perform the second attempt at the determined time.
