    摘要: A stationary gasifier (17) is located at a distance (49) from an air aperture plate (35). At the outlet (42) of the gasifier there is a stationary mixing head (29) having a deflector section (31) and lateral outlets (33). Fuel is supplied coaxially through an opening (55) of the air aperture plate. A flame tube (21) surrounds the gasifier (17) and an electric heater (39) leaving an annular space (40). When the burner is started up, the electric heater (39) is switched on until the gasifier has the necessary operating temperature. Fuel is then supplied. The fuel/air mixture is ignited by an electrode (65). The flame tube (21) extends to the end of the mixing head (29), or only a little therebeyond. A flame is formed at the outlets (33) that touches the flame tube after a short travel, then emerges from it and expands. Because the flame can immediately expand, only little NO.sub.x is formed. A portion of the hot combustion gases is recirculated through the annular space (40) and sucked into the gasifier to heat the gasifier (17) after the shutoff of the electric heater (39).

In the flame tube (81) is a gasification chamber having a gasification chamber housing (75) coaxially located to the flame tube (81), and a housing (75) located at a distance therefrom. The rotor (17) located in the housing (75) can be axially moved with respect to the bearing (29), thereby causing a slot between the axial bearing surfaces (51, 53). Through this slot fuel is ejected into the gasification chamber by the rotation of the rotor (17). The opening of the slot between the axial bearing surfaces (51, 53) depends on the oil pressure which is determined by signals of the heating control 24. The fuel throughput may be controlled in steps or continuously according to the heat requirements. The electric heating (77) is only used during the start phase. In operation of the burner the heat requirements for the gasifying chamber (25) are covered by the recirculation of hot combustion gases through the recirculation gas inlet (73).

The heat exchanger has openings for hot flue gases distributed over its mantle. The burner head disposed in the combustion chamber is suitable for burning oil and has a flame tube with an axial flame opening and a flame baffle element disposed at a distance from the flame opening which is constructed so that the flame is diverted into the space between the flame tube and the heat exchanger. In addition, a fire chamber mantle can be disposed between the heat exchanger and the flame tube to protect the heat exchanger from direct contact with the flame.

    摘要: The burner has a motor, a fuel pump and a fan. An easily replaceable component unit (27), the drive shaft (33) of which is coupled to the burner motor, is surrounded by the flame tube (21). The component unit (27) has a drive shaft (33), supported in an adaptor sleeve (37), for driving the gasifier (17). When the burner is started up, the rotatable gasifier (17) is heated by the heater (39). Once the gasifier has reached a predetermined temperature, the supply of fuel takes place through the line segment (19') and through the nozzle (71) to the immediate vicinity of the inner wall of the gasifier (17). Because of the rapid rotation, the fuel is distributed over the entire inner wall of the gasifier (17) and evaporates. Particularly in the mixing head (29), the evaporated fuel mixes with the combustion air flowing in through the opening (77) and is directed radially to the outside by a deflector (31, 31'). Shortly after leaving the mixing head (29), the flame touches the short flame tube (21) and emerges from it. After a short travel in the flame tube, the flame can expand and decompress. As a result, a high flame temperature is avoided, and the formation of nitrogen oxides is diminished. A portion of the combustion gases is recirculated through the recirculation opening (79) and serves to heat the gasifier (17) after the shutoff of the electric heater (39).

    摘要: To provide gasification of liquid fuel which is admitted by an atomizing nozzle (11, 13) into a gasification space (66). A deflection element (31) is located spaced from an air inlet (55) in order to deflect the mixture of air, recirculated combustion gases and gasified fuel in the gasification space. A flame tube (21) provides for a first (I) recirculation path for hot gases towards a recirculation openings (49). A second recirculation path (II) extends through openings (57, 61, 59) into the deflection element itself which, preferably, is a hollow, essentially shallow conical deflection structure. The deflection element in combination with the flame tube (21) causes recirculation of gases through the first recirculation path (I) back into the gasification space (66). Thus, all structural elements of the gasification space are subjected to recirculated hot combustion gases, so that no droplets from the atomizing burner (13) can adhere, and coke on structural elements. The efficient recirculation together with the complex stream relationships, caused by the braking effect of the recirculation element, and eddies and turbulences arising from over-pressure air supplied by the air inlet (55), result in effectively complete gasification of fuels within the gasification space (66) the end of the flame tube burns blue, with practically no NO.sub.x even if no real gasifier structure is present. The flame, expanding in radial direction due to the deflection element, near formation, and effectively devoid of unburned hydrocarbons.

    摘要: A container (10) comprising a trough (23) is filled with pulverous or granular material, for example a neutralizing agent for sulphuric acid. At the place where the container (10) is used, for example on a waste gas cleaning apparatus, a subassembly (27') is pushed through an opening (20). The subassembly (27') comprises substantially an axial feed member (29) having the form of a helical spring, a loosening member (31), a rotatable shaft (33), and a coupling member (35). When rotational motion is transmitted from a drive to the coupling member (35) the screw (39) is rotated and the loosening member (31) which is periodically pressed by the trough (23) against the screw (39) loosens the granular or pulverous material, so that it glides towards the axial feed member (29). The axial feed member (29) transports the material from the interior of the container (10) to the outlet (53). When the container (10) is empty, the subassembly ( 27') is removed and inserted into a new container (10). The old container may then be discarded.
