    摘要: A robot comprises an auger-based drive system, a memory, and a processor coupled with the memory and configured to control movement of the robot via the auger-based drive system. The processor obtains a first measurement of an angle of slope of a portion of piled granular material in a bulk store. In response to the first measurement satisfying a first condition, the robot traverses the portion of piled granular material to incite sediment gravity flow in the portion of piled granular material by disruption of viscosity of the portion of piled granular material through agitation of the portion of piled granular material by auger rotation of the auger-based drive system. The processor obtains a second measurement of the angle of slope of the portion of piled granular material. In response to the second measurement satisfying a second condition, the robot ceases traversal of the portion of piled granular material.

    摘要: The bin arrangement is for collecting and discharging smaller ligno-cellulosic material. The bin has a transition part from a circular section of the bin and downwardly to a rectangular section with a long and short side of the rectangular section. The transition part could be built with few wall segments, thus needing less welding. Two rotary pocket feeders, each with at least one shaft extending parallel to the long side, are arranged directly under the rectangular section, enabling a uniform feed from the bin. The use of two rotary pocket feeders with this design directly under the bin does not destroy the even feed of material through the bin part, which otherwise is experienced from using conventional feed screws that feed material in a transverse direction from the bin outlet. The bin does not need to have a complex bin design which converges to a small circular inlet to a conventional rotary pocket feeder.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for discharging a food material is provided, in which a plurality of supply rollers provided with grooves or ridges on their surfaces are circularly disposed to form a funnel-shaped space, into which space the food material is charged. The food material is subjected to a circumferential force by the rotating supply rollers and is steadily fed downward, without slipping. Further, an apparatus for discharging a food material is provided, in which a supply pipe with a scraper is disposed under a food-material-supply section. The scraper is positioned adjacent the inner wall of the supply pipe or positioned such that the scraper slidably contacts the inner wall of the supply pipe, to thereby peel off the food material adhering to the inner wall, so as to stably feed the food material downward.

    摘要: A machine for conditioning and dispensing loose fill insulation material, such as cellulosic insulation, fiber glass insulation and rock wool insulation. The machine includes a hopper, a conditioning chamber, an air lock and a blower for pneumatically dispensing the material. The conditioning chamber is equipped with three rotating shafts with helically arranged spikes which serve as conveyors as well as dispersers. A lower conveyor shaft moves the material toward the opening into the air lock, while the two uppermost conveyor shafts move the material in the opposite direction. Thus, the same assembly which conveys the material to the air lock also conditions the material. Moreover, the counter current flow pattern churns or agitates the insulation material while the individual spikes disperse it. A single motor drives the rotation of the conveyor shafts and the rotation of the vanes in the air lock.
