A monitoring system includes a plurality of cameras and a control device. The control device includes device storage, an output device, and an input device. The device storage stores therein an image captured by each camera of the plurality of cameras. The output device displays an image exhibiting a positional relationship of the plurality of cameras. The input device sets tracking information for tracking a specific tracking target in the captured images to one camera among the plurality of cameras. When an imaginary movement line is input on the image exhibiting the positional relationship of the cameras, the input device sets the tracking information to one or more cameras corresponding to the imaginary movement line among the plurality of cameras other than the one camera.

A display device includes a display section, a display control section, an acceptance section, and a storage section. The display control section allows the display section to display an input screen including a plurality of character input fields. When all characters displayed in a character input field designated as a character input destination are deleted by a sequence of character deletion operations, the display control section allows the storage section to store the deleted characters. Then, when the acceptance section accepts an operation for canceling designation of the character input field as the character input destination, the display control section allows the display section to display, in another of the plurality of character input fields, the characters stored in the storage section.

The device controller includes an assignment section and a count section. The imaging device captures an image of an imaging area to generate captured image data indicating the captured image. The device controller acquires the captured image data from the imaging device through the device communication section. The assignment section assigns a plurality of candidate detection ranges to the captured image. The count section counts the number of occurrences of a specific event in each of the candidate detection ranges. The device storage stores therein the number of occurrences of the specific event in association with each of the candidate detection ranges.

Provided is an image forming apparatus that can easily print a wrapping paper for packaging a three-dimensional object. An image reading part acquires an image of an object matter placed on a document table. A dimension acquisition part acquires dimensions of the three-dimensional object on the basis of an image of one face of the three-dimensional object, and an image of another face, crossing the one face of the three-dimensional object, the images having been acquired by the image reading part. A paper selection part selects a paper capable of packaging the three-dimensional object on the basis of the dimensions of the three-dimensional object that have been acquired by the dimension acquisition part. An image forming part outputs a wrapping paper that has been printed with an image on the paper selected by the paper selection part.

An image forming apparatus includes a printing portion, a receiving portion, an image reading portion for reading one surface and another surface connected to the one surface of a material to be housed, so as to generate individual image data of the one surface and the another surface, and a controlling portion configured to recognize a size of the material to be housed based on the individual image data, to generate paper bag image data that is image data of a development of the paper bag in which the entire of the material to be housed can fit, the development being with tabs for sticking for assembly, and to control the printing portion to print the development with tabs for sticking based on the paper bag image data.
