Abstract:
A medical treatment support system has operations A to G on a display screen to easily handle respective data on a sheet. Operation A facilitates the browsing of a large amount of data. Operations B and C allow the user to easily copy and move data. Operation D is a scale function to facilitate measurement. Using operation E, the operator can easily divide an area into segments only by drawing a horizontal line. Operation F is used to change a display angle of image data displayed on the screen. Operation G allows the user to browse respective data classified for each sheet label. The new functions of the single-unit input/output pen-tablet device can be intuitively operated by a user not versed in the functions. This consequently mitigates the load of complex input operation which interrupts thinking of the user and which hinders diagnosis mitigated in medical treatment. A medical treatment support system, a display method for the same, and a recording medium having stored the same provide, in the processing of information regarding medical treatment, advantages of electronic data processing and advantages of processing of handwritten data on a sheet of paper.
Abstract:
An image inputting apparatus has an image reading device and a storage medium that can be removably loaded into the image reading device, and a controller that causes the storage medium to store image data read through the image reading device. The apparatus includes an image analyzing section and a data converting section. The image analyzing section analyzes image format information previously stored in the storage medium. The data converting section converts the image data read through the image reading device, conversion being performed based on an analysis result of the image analyzing section. The controller causes the storage medium to store the image data read through the image reading device. The image format information includes a file format, the number of colors, the size of image, and the type of primary colors.
Abstract:
This invention of the position/force control device intends to improve response performance in high frequency band and to ensure realization of a delicate work. A position detector is provided each on a master 1 side and on a slave 3 side, respectively, and reaction force estimation observers 2 and 4 estimate reaction force undergone by the operation part of the master side and reaction force undergone by the object of the slave side on the basis of outputs of the position detectors. The position control part 5 generates acceleration signals apm, aps for controlling positions on the master side and on the slave side on the basis of the position signals outputted by the position detectors of the master side and of the slave side. The operation force control part 6 generates acceleration signals afm, afs for controlling forces applied to the master side and to the slave side based upon the outputs from reaction force estimation observers 2 and 4. The acceleration composition part 7 composes the two sets of acceleration signals apm, aps, and afm, afs, and outputs the driving signals for the master side and the slave side.
Abstract:
There is provided a manipulator simplified in maintenance and operation thereof, the manipulator having the freedom of two-degree-of-freedom of rotation and gripping, and being capable of ensuring force feedback or force sensation with excellent operationability. A link mechanism 3 is provided between an operating part 1 and a working part 2. The link mechanism 3 comprises four driving rods 3a to 3d and first and second coupling members of the same structure, 41, 42 provided at opposite ends of the driving rods. First and second working members 2a, 2b move correspondingly to operations of first and second operating members 1a, 1b with the aid of the link mechanism 3. For example, provided that the first and second operating members 1a, 1b might be opened and closed, the first and second working members 2a, 2b might be opened and closed (gripping). And also, provided that the first and second operating members 1a, 1b are changed in their yaw angles, the working members 2a, 2b are also correspondingly changed in their yaw angle. Similarly, once the first and second operating members 1a, 1b are changed in their pitch angles, the working members 2a, 2b might be also correspondingly changed in their pitch angles.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an electronic record system which dispenses with complicated operations using a menu and a button and handwriting input operation like paper writing can be achieved. A system is established and is provided with: an input/output unit device capable of inputting/outputting data by the direct writing on a display screen with a pen; and a control/arithmetic device connected to the input/output unit device and reflecting the data inputted on the display screen to the screen. In this system, an electronic record in the form of strip-shaped sheet with an infinite length extending in the longitudinal direction is displayed, data is directly inputted from the display screen as a stroke data, the inputted characters are converted into the character data by the use of a character recognition engine and the converted data is used as data format available in a secondary use such as a data search, and various functions are driven by a predetermined pen operation.
Abstract:
A communication apparatus includes a communication connector, a communication section, a connection section, a state detector, a controller and a warning section. The communication section controls communication performed through the communication connector, to which a communication plug is connected. The connection section connects the communication connector and the communication section. The state detector generates a state detection signal corresponding to a connection state of the communication plug relative to the communication connector. The controller determines which of a normal connection state, an improper connection state and a non-connection state the communication plug is in based on the state detection signal. The controller also controls an ON-OFF operation of the connection section. The warning section notifies a user of results determined by the controller.
Abstract:
An image reading device that is connected to a communication network, that converts image information read by an image information reading part into sent image information, and that sends the sent image information over the communication network, the image reading device includes: a user identification (ID) information memory part configured to store user identification (ID) information; a controller configured to format source specific information (for example, email address, source fax number, and user TSI information) that is added to the image information based on the user ID information, the source specific information for identifying a user of the image reading device on a destination side at which the sent image information is received.
Abstract:
