摘要： The present invention provides a composite sheet electrode which has high strength, excellent current collecting properties and which is used efficiently as an active material for an electrode. The electrode has excellent discharge capacities and can be easily formed into an electrode terminal. A cell employing this electrode is also disclosed. The invention also provides a composite sheet electrode having a porosity of 20 to 80% containing 5 to 95% by weight of an active material of an electrode, 1 to 50% by weight of a current collecting material and heat fusible short fibers. The present invention also provides a composite sheet electrode having a porosity of 20 to 80%, which is made up of a composite sheet containing 5 to 95% by weight of an active material as an electrode and 5 to 95% by weight of heat fusible short fibers, as well as a current collecting material layer formed on said composite sheet. The present invention further provides a cell employing the latter-mentioned composite sheet electrode.

摘要： The present invention provides a carbonaceous material suitable for an electrode of a secondary cell. The carbonaceous material has a specific surface area by BET method of at least 10 m.sup.2 /g and a nitrogen/carbon atom weight ratio of 0.15 to 0.01, and is obtained by heat-treating a polyimide polymer having repeating units represented by: ##STR1## wherein R represents a 4 valent aromatic residue having at least one aromatic ring, of which each 2 valences are bonded with an adjacent carbon atom in the aromatic ring, R' represents a divalent aromatic residue having 1 to 4 aromatic rings and n is an integer of at least 2. The present invention also provides a secondary cell using the above mentioned carbonaceous material as electrode.

摘要： An improved disk brake which provides both low dragging torque and good pedal feeling even on ABS-equipped vehicles with which the working fluid pressure is around or over 140 kgf/cm.sup.2. The disk brake has a piston seal fitted in a groove formed in the cylinder. The piston seal is deformed when the brake piston is advanced by fluid pressure to press the pad and retracts the piston by its spring-back force when the fluid pressure is released. The width W of chamfer provided at edge of the seal groove is set to 1.0 mm or over and the hardness of the piston seal is set to 75.degree. IRHD or over.

摘要： A portable terminal comprises a LCD display screen (2) located on a control surface of a case for displaying thereon information according to the communication mode; a main soft key (3) located below the LCD display screen (2) with which can be rotated in a direction towards or away from the display screen as well as can be pressed; and first auxiliary soft key (4A) and second auxiliary soft key (4B) located on the two sides of the main soft key (3) which can be pressed. In this portable terminal, for each communication mode, function having the highest frequency of use is allocated to the main soft key (3) mode and functions having the next highest frequency of use are allocated to the first auxiliary soft key (4A) and second auxiliary soft key (4B). Further, marks representing the allocated functions are displayed on the LCD display screen (2) near the positions of the main soft key and the first auxiliary soft key (4A) and a second auxiliary soft key (4B) as main-function icon and auxiliary-function icon respectively.

摘要： A machine tool is provided with a transfer arm for interchanging a first tool, inserted into a rotary spindle and positioned at a predetermined angular position, with another tool stored within a storage magazine, the spindle and each of the tools being respectively provided with drive and driven protrusions, which are engaged with each other for a positive drive operation by inching the spindle in a tool exchange operation. Interference preventers, which are provided upon the magazine in order to respectively cooperate with the driven protrusions, angularly correspond to the drive protrusion positioned at the predetermined angular position, such that each of the tools may be inserted into the spindle without interference between the drive and driven protrusions.
