摘要: In a portable electronic device that has a first casing 1 and a second casing 2 coupled to each other via a coupling member and can be selectively set in a closed state and an open state, at an opposing portion between the coupling member and the second casing 2, there are formed a receiving surface 33 and a slide surface 29 that are to be in a slide contact with each other in a first half of a process where both the casings shift from a most separated state to a closest state in the open state, and at an opposing portion between the first casing 1 and the second casing 2, there are formed a projecting portion 10 and a recessed portion 20 that are to be engaged with each other and disengaged from each other in a latter half of the process.

摘要: A portable electronic apparatus includes coupled first and second casings with respective image display surfaces, and including a full-closed state where both casings are overlaid on each other, a tilt state where the second casing has been moved from the full-closed state so that the image display surfaces in both casings are exposed and, also, the image display surface in the second casing is inclined with respect to the image display surface in the first casing at an angle of opening which is equal to or more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees, and a full-open state where the image display surfaces in both casings are flushed with each other in the same plane, and the portable electronic apparatus being capable of holding the second casing, in attitude, with respect to the first casing in the full-closed state, in the tilt state and in the full-open state.

摘要: The portable apparatus comprises a first casing 1 and a second casing 2 slidably connected to each other by a connecting member. The connecting member and one of the casings 2 have opposed surfaces formed with a sliding-contact surface 311 and a sliding-contact receiving surface 211, to slide against each other in a process of shifting from a second opened state to a closed state, to thereby displace from a position in a sliding direction relative to the connecting member in the second opened state to a predetermined relative position in the closed state.

摘要: A portable electronic device in which a pair of housings are coupled and movable between a fully closed state and a fully open state, and electronic components contained in first and second housings are connected by using a flexible lead, the portable electronic device being able to accommodate a bending displacement of the flexible lead in association with relative movement of both housings without providing a large space inside the device. The portable electronic device includes a coupling arm which couples the first and second housing so as to be relatively movable between a fully closed state and a fully open state; a flexible lead includes a belt-like lead portion extending through the inside of the coupling arm; and the coupling arm is formed with a lead accommodating portion for tolerating a bending deformation of the lead portion in association with opening and closing of both the housings.
