Abstract: An automatic lift and toss shovel has a bucket, a lift and toss apparatus, a frame support and a maneuvering frame that together gather, push, lift and toss materials. The bucket utilizes sidewalls, a gathering member, and a lifting member to gather and contain materials therein and allow them to be pushed. A lift and toss apparatus attaches the bucket to the frame support. The apparatus utilizes a combination of swing, toss, lift, guide and cross arms/members to support and guide the bucket and provide for automatic lifting and tossing of the bucket contents as the shoveler desires. The frame support has wheels to assist the shoveler in gathering snow and relocating it. The maneuvering frame is attached to the frame support and provides the handles which allow the user to control and operate the lift and toss shovel.

Abstract: A rack for loading and accumulating bags comprises: a) a frame; b) a plurality of similarly sized shelves maintained in a horizontal position; c) said frame carrying similar shelves on an opposite side; d) tracks and a powered mechanism to rotate the shelves. After a first shelf positioned on a bottom portion of the first long side is loaded, it can be moved upwardly, generally concurrently rotating all of the shelves around the rack. All of the shelves can be thereby loaded from the portion position on a first long side. Lifting and carrying required to completely fill the rack is thereby minimized. Most preferably a shelf unloading mechanism is provided to push the shelf and/or bags loaded thereon off the rack; so that all of the shelves can be discharged therewith, by rotatably moving all of the shelves after each shelf has been unloaded.

Abstract: a) A frame having a handle, an upright post extending therefrom having a slide stop on an upper portion, a lower and upper slide on a central portion, a lever having a central portion hinged to the frame having a rearwardly extending end, and a forwardly extending slide lift end, attached and configured through a slide lift to lift the lower slide when the rearwardly extending end is depressed; b) a shovel having a bottom snow carrying portion and an upright back portion; c) a lower shovel arm having one end hinged to a lower portion of the upright back portion of the shovel, and the other opposite end hingably connected to the upper slide; d) an upper shovel portion projecting/dumping linkage, having an upper shovel arm having one end hinged to an upper portion of the upright back portion of the shovel and having the other end hingably connected to an upper end of a pivoting arm, the other end hingably connected to the lower slide and a central portion pivotably pinned to a central portion of the lower shovel arm. When the slides are lifted by the lever the shovel is first lifted up the post, and then when the top slide is prevented from further sliding, the bottom slide continues to move, causing the other ends of the lower arm and the pivoting arm to move together, thereby causing the shovel to extend outwardly and turn from a snow collection to a dumping position.
