Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a photoconductor, a light emitting substrate, and imaging optical systems, wherein an optical axis of the imaging optical systems are parallel, imaging magnifications of the imaging optical systems are substantially equal for the light emitting point groups, the imaging optical systems includes a first lens array, a second lens array, and apertures, central points of the light emitting point group exist in a first plane, central points of the imaging lenses exist in a second plane, central points of the apertures exist in a third plane, central points of the imaging lenses exist in a fourth plane, the first plane forms a non-zero predetermined angle with respect to a plane perpendicular to an optical axis direction, and the angle formed with respect to the plane perpendicular to the optical axis direction is greater in the order of the first, second, third, and the fourth plane.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes: a light-emitting element that includes light-emitting point groups; and an optical system that includes imaging systems focusing light from light-emitting points of the light-emitting point groups, wherein the light-emitting point groups and the imaging systems are combined into sets, the light-receiving surface has a cylindrical shape, each imaging system has a negative imaging magnification, light-emitting point groups are arranged at different positions, the imaging systems adjacent to each other have optical axes non-parallel to each other, each optical axis has an angle being not zero relative to the central normal, and a plane including the optical axis and the central normal is perpendicular to a rotational symmetry axis, and an angle between the optical axis and a line normal to the light-receiving surface is smaller than an angle between the central normal and a line normal to the light-receiving surface.

Abstract: A three-dimensional shape measuring method includes: a first step to: project first and second projection images on a target object, wherein the first projection images include row-direction stripe patterns different from each other, and the second projection images include column-direction stripe patterns different from each other, and obtain first and second captured images of the target object, wherein the first captured images are captured while the first projection images are projected, and the second captured images are captured while the second projection images are projected; a second step to identify a corresponding projection pixel of the first and second projection images, wherein the corresponding projection pixel corresponds to each of captured pixels of the first and second captured images; and a third step to identify a 3D shape of the target object based on a result of the second step.

Abstract: A video display device includes: a display element displaying images by modulating light from an illumination optical system; and an eyepiece optical system guiding image light from the display element into an optical pupil. The illumination optical system includes: a light source including light emission points arranged substantially linearly; a diffuser plate diffusing illumination light from the light source in a first direction, in which the light emission points are arranged, but not in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; and an optical element bending the illumination light such that the optical pupil and the light source are substantially conjugate. The optical element includes an illumination mirror, a reflection surface thereof having a non-zero curvature in all sections including a normal line at the optical-axis intersection. Here, the section perpendicular to the first direction has a different curvature from the section perpendicular to the second direction.
