Abstract:
A motion of a model including a joint, at least one body part that rotates with respect to the joint, and a plurality of inertial sensors attached to each body part and measuring a rotational motion of the body part is tracked by obtaining a rotational matrix of a sensor coordinate system fixed to each of the inertial sensors with respect to an inertial coordinate system fixed to ground, by using a signal measured by the inertial sensor attached to each body part; obtaining a rotational matrix of the sensor coordinate systems with respect to a body part coordinate system fixed to each body part, by using an obtained rotational matrix value of the sensor coordinate system; obtaining a rotational matrix of each body part coordinate system with respect to the inertial coordinate system, by using a calculated rotational matrix of the sensor coordinate systems; and calculating a joint variable with respect to each body part, by using a calculated rotational matrix of the body part coordinate system.

Abstract:
Embodiments relate to a system and method for calibrating a ratio of body size of a subject including setting a body coordinate system of each body segment of the subject, calculating a first rotation matrix from a world coordinate system set based on the ground to a sensor coordinate system of each motion sensor when the subject takes a first basic pose, calculating a second rotation matrix from the world coordinate system to the sensor coordinate system of each motion sensor when the subject takes a second basic pose, calculating a third rotation matrix from the world coordinate system to the body coordinate system of a trunk for a first motion sensor attached to the trunk of the subject, and calculating a ratio of body size of the subject based on the third rotation matrix.
Abstract:
A system for predicting a three-dimensional human body joint angle according to an embodiment predicts information on a human body joint angle of a new subject by photographing a motion of a subject at different three-dimensional positions and using information on the human body joint angle according to the generated motion of the subject and information on the human body joint angle according to the motion of the subject.
