摘要: A large-scale content delivery system may be achieved, which may send a large amount of contents without intensive management of the contents in the server. In a service providing system where a client, a service gateway, and a server are connected to each other through a network, the client sends a first message to the server by way of the service gateway. The service gateway inquires a processing method of the first message from the client of the server by using a second message that includes a part of the first message content. The server replies to the inquiry of the processing method from the service gateway with a program that describes the processing method, and the service gateway processes the first message from the client on the basis of the received processing method.

摘要: A communication system in which, even when an HTTP session is disconnected from a mobile device, the HTTP session can be continued or a response from a Web server can be returned to a user, without installing a special application in the mobile device. A load-distributable system is provided for realizing such operation. To that end, in a communication system having a relay device that relays a request from a portable telephone terminal (110) to a Web server (120), the relay device (130) relays a processing request from the portable telephone terminal (110) to the Web server, and stores a processing response from the Web server. The relay device (130) sends the portable telephone terminal a message to the effect that the processing response should be acquired from the relay device (130) or a message with the processing response added.

摘要: To continue communication of a client even if an SIP server falls into a congestion state. Each of a communication gateway device and a relay method of the present invention couples to a client device and to an SIP server device for managing coupling information of the client device via a network; stores SIP-URI and a contact address of the client device that are included in a REGISTER request from the client device to the SIP server device as setup information; and when receiving an INVITE request from the client device to another client device, that is an SIP method for beginning a session, refers to the setup information, and forwards the INVITE request to the other client device.

摘要: A load balancing system having a plurality of service servers and a load balancer which prevents a service performance from being reduced by an overload of requests on the service servers. The system includes a load balancer and a administration server, the load balancer outputs an access log relating to an access to the service server, and the administration server performs statistical operation over the access log. The administration server prepares a service server run schedule on the basis of a result of the statistical operation and informs the load balancer of it. The load balancer controls distribution of a request to the service server according to the informed run schedule.

摘要: The disclosed DNS server apparatus monitors whether each service providing server apparatus is active or inactive and collects load information. When the monitored apparatus is active but congested or is unable to offer services, a virtual IP address assigned to a Sorry server apparatus is sent back as a response. When service providing server apparatuses in active state are congested or unable to provide services, the DNS server apparatus sends a server activation instruction and an IP addresses for services to the service providing server apparatuses on standby to activate them. Each service providing server apparatus on standby activates server software in response to the server activation instruction and assigns the received IP address to a network interface as a virtual IP address, thus activating the interface.

摘要: To grant an access permission to an attached file of an e-mail stored in a file server. An access permission to the attached file is set based on information included in a first e-mail. The attached file is stored in the file server. The second e-mail that is the first e-mail from which the added file is deleted and to which reference information for accessing the added file stored in the file server is added is transmitted to a receiver side mail server and a sender side mail server. In response to an access request to the attached file based on the reference information from either of a mail sender and a mail receiver, the file server controls the access to the attached file based on an access permission that was set.

摘要: A periodic process scheduling method which includes receiving requests for periodical execution of processes each with a period of execution and execution time, securing allocation time for the shortest process to be executed in respective periods of execution, securing another allocation time for part of a process if full execution time of the process cannot be secured within the respective periods of execution, and starting execution of the process in secured allocation time. A data transfer management method for reducing collision in data transfer which includes storing data length of packets being transferred in a predetermined transmission time interval, storing the predetermined transmission time interval, accumulating a quantity of packets to be transferred in the predetermined transmission time interval, and limiting quantity of packets to be transferred to not be greater than data length.
