Abstract: A front emission type display device is provided. In the display device, light generated by a light-emitting element which is disposed on a first substrate can be emitted to the outside through a color filter and a second substrate, so that an image can be realized on an outer surface of the second substrate. In the display device, a space between a first device passivation layer on the light-emitting element, and a second device passivation layer on the second substrate can be filled by the color filter and a pixel defining pattern disposed on a side surface of the color filter. Thus, in the display device, the distortion of the first substrate and the second substrate can be prevented or reduced.

Abstract: A display device including a micro-cavity structure and a method for forming the same is provided. The display device includes light-emitting structures on pixel areas. In the display device, each of the pixel areas may realize a color different from an adjacent pixel area. In the display device, each of the light-emitting structures may include a reflective electrode, a resonant layer and a transparent electrode, which are sequentially stacked. In the display device, a side surface of the resonant layer and a side surface of the transparent electrode of the light-emitting structure may be surrounded by an interlayer insulating layer. Thus, in the display device, the reliability and the production efficiency may be improved.

Abstract: A display device serving as a mirror in a non-display state is provided. The display device may include a reflective pattern and a half-mirror layer which are disposed on an upper substrate opposite to a lower substrate. The half-mirror layer may be disposed side by side with the reflective pattern. Thereby, a discontinuous appearance of the reflective image may be reduced, and the degradation of the reflective image due to the diffraction of the light may be prevented or reduced.
