Abstract:
A micro LED display device includes a display panel. The display panel includes a plurality of pixel areas each having a thin film transistor. A first micro LED and a second micro LED are in each pixel area. The first micro LED is configured to emit light to display an image, and the second micro LED is configured to emit light to improve a displayed brightness for a specific area of the image.
Abstract:
An autostereoscopic display and a method for driving the same are discussed. The autostereoscopic display according to an embodiment includes a display panel displaying data of a left eye image and data of a right eye image and a three-dimensional (3D) cell which is positioned on the display panel or is embedded in the display panel and separates optical axes of the left eye image and the right eye image. A frame rate of the 3D cell is greater than a frame rate of the display panel.
Abstract:
A display device may include a substrate on which pixels are defined, each pixel including a plurality of sub-pixels; a step formation layer disposed on the substrate; an adhesive layer disposed on the step formation layer; and a plurality of light-emitting elements respectively disposed in the plurality of sub-pixels, and disposed on the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer may include: a plurality of first portions respectively overlapping the light-emitting elements, a plurality of non-adhering areas respectively disposed adjacent to the plurality of first portions; and a second portion other than the plurality of first portions and the plurality of non-adhering areas. Accordingly, a transfer process may be simplified, and a transfer process time may be reduced. A method for manufacturing the display device is also disclosed.
