Abstract: Aspects presented herein relate to methods, devices, and apparatuses for display processing. The apparatus may obtain a first intensity map associated with first luminance information for a scene. The apparatus may also configure a second intensity map based on the first intensity map and at least one coordinate frame from a perspective of a user of a device for display content associated with the scene. The apparatus may also determine whether luminance information for at least one region in the second intensity map is within a suitable luminance range for the display content associated with the scene. The apparatus may also process a set of pixels corresponding to a section in a display associated with the at least one region based on the luminance information being at least one of: within the suitable luminance range, outside of the suitable luminance range, or within an indistinguishable luminance range.

Abstract: An image display method, an image display device, and a readable storage medium are disclosed. The image display method applied to a headset display device comprises: controlling the camera to capture a display image, comparing the display image with a corresponding reference image, to obtain a pixel point of the display image that is changed relative to the reference image, wherein the reference image is a previous frame image of the display image captured by the camera (S10); obtaining pixel information of the pixel point according to the changed pixel point (S20); and refreshing the changed pixel point to the display screen according to the pixel information (S30).

The method includes: determining a first duration of a first active pulse phase in a backlight driving signal corresponding to a target frame of a to-be displayed picture in a display panel, based on a target duty ratio and a first period corresponding to a target previous frame; wherein the target previous frame is a frame preceding the target frame, and the backlight driving signal is configured to drive a backlight of the display panel; and determining a second duration based on a maximum period corresponding to a frame at a lowest refresh frequency of the display panel and the first period, to delay a start time of the first active pulse phase based on the second duration.

Abstract: To provide a semiconductor device, a liquid crystal display device, and an electronic device which have a wide viewing angle and in which the number of manufacturing steps, the number of masks, and manufacturing cost are reduced compared with a conventional one. The liquid crystal display device includes a first electrode formed over an entire surface of one side of a substrate; a first insulating film formed over the first electrode; a thin film transistor formed over the first insulating film; a second insulating film formed over the thin film transistor; a second electrode formed over the second insulating film and having a plurality of openings; and a liquid crystal over the second electrode. The liquid crystal is controlled by an electric field between the first electrode and the second electrode.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a display unit, a voltage generation unit, a grayscale adjustment unit, and an overdriving unit. The display unit has a relationship curve between the transmittance and the driving voltage. The relationship curve has a predetermined voltage value corresponding to the maximum transmittance. The voltage generation unit generates a first voltage according to a first grayscale, and generates a second voltage according to a second grayscale. The grayscale adjustment unit receives a first display grayscale value, and outputs the second grayscale value when the first display grayscale value is equal to the first grayscale. The overdriving unit overdrives the second voltage corresponding to the second grayscale to obtain a first target driving voltage, and it provides the first target driving voltage to the display unit.
