Abstract: A display device, such an organic light emitting display device is disclosed. The display device includes an insulating film including a concave portion in an area of at least one subpixel, a first electrode on a side portion of the concave portion and on the concave portion in an area of the subpixel, an organic layer overlapping the concave portion and on the first electrode. An organic layer disposed in the at least one blue subpixel may include at least one of a first light emitting dopant with a maximum emission wavelength of 457 nm or less, a second light emitting dopant with a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 30 nm or less, and/or a third light emitting dopant with the maximum emission wavelength of 457 nm or less and the full width at half maximum of 30 nm or less. Thus, a display device with enhanced light extraction efficiency is provided.

Abstract: A display device, such an organic light emitting display device is disclosed. Abstract: An organic light-emitting display (OLED) apparatus includes an organic light-emitting device including an anode, an organic light-emitting layer, and a cathode. The OLED apparatus also includes an encapsulation element covering the organic light-emitting device, and a particular layer disposed between the organic light-emitting device and the encapsulation element. The particular layer is doped with a light absorption material that absorbs light having a wavelength shorter than a wavelength of light emitted from the organic light-emitting device so that variation in characteristics of the organic light-emitting device by external light is reduced. Accordingly, the lifespan of the OLED apparatus can be improved.

Abstract: A display panel can include a substrate including first, second and third subpixels; an overcoat layer including a first inclined surface in at least one of the first, second and third subpixels; first, second and third anode electrodes corresponding to the first, second and third subpixels, respectively, wherein at least one of the first, second and third anode electrodes includes a second inclined surface overlapping with the first inclined surface of the overcoat layer; first, second and third organic light emitting layers disposed on the first, second and third anode electrodes, respectively; and a bank layer disposed on the overcoat layer, the bank layer including a third inclined surface overlapping with both the first and second inclined surfaces of the overcoat layer and the at least one of the first, second and third anode electrodes, in which at least one of the first, second and third inclined surfaces is configured to reflect light emitted from a corresponding one of the first, second and third organic light emitting layers.
