Abstract: A refrigerant leak detector and an air conditioner including a refrigerant leak detector. The refrigerant leak detector may include an acoustic emission sensor that detects an elastic wave generated from a refrigerant leak site in a refrigerant pipe, and a jig comprising a lower end portion configured to contact an outer circumferential surface of the refrigerant pipe and an upper end portion in contact with the acoustic emission sensor. The lower end portion may include a curved surface configured to contact the refrigerant pipe. The upper end portion may include a flat surface that supports the acoustic emission sensor.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of controlling an air conditioner. The method of controlling the air conditioner of the present disclosure includes: collecting indoor unit data of each of a plurality of indoor units connected to an outdoor unit; controlling a total flow rate of refrigerant supplied to the plurality of indoor units based on a total load of the indoor units, which is determined based on the indoor unit data of the respective indoor units; and controlling an individual flow rate of refrigerant flowing to the respective indoor units based on clusters of the respective indoor units which are matched based on the indoor unit data of the respective indoor units.
