The climate controller configured to isolate a high-pressure side of the climate control circuit when leaking of the working fluid is detected.

摘要: A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, and more particularly a method of detecting and mitigating refrigerant leaks in an HVAC system is disclosed. The HVAC system includes a leak detection system for detecting a leak of the refrigerant from the refrigerant circuit. The leak detection system includes a collection chamber locatable proximate a component of the HVAC system. The leak detection system also includes a sensor assembly including an enclosure comprising a sensor and a fan. The leak detection system also includes a flowline connecting the collection chamber with the sensor assembly such that the sensor assembly may be located away from the collection chamber and the component. The fan is operable to induce fluid flow from the collection chamber into the sensor assembly and the sensor is operable to analyze the fluid flow and detect a leak of the refrigerant from the component.

摘要: A refrigerant gas leak sensor for a HVAC system includes a housing, a gas sensor core element and mounting means. The housing has primary walls delimiting an inner volume. The gas sensor core element is arranged in the inner volume. The mounting means is configured to attach the housing to a mounting surface, wherein a first surface of a primary wall of the housing faces the mounting surface and wherein a gap is provided between the first surface and the mounting surface. An opening is formed in the housing for exposing the gas sensor core element to gases within the HVAC system, wherein the opening is provided on the first surface. The refrigerant gas leak sensor may be provided as part of an air handling unit.

The air conditioner includes a liquid-side shut-off valve connected between an outdoor heat exchanger and an indoor unit-side expansion valve, a gas-side shut-off valve connected between an indoor heat exchanger and a compressor, a bypass passage in which one end is connected between the liquid-side shut-off valve and the indoor unit-side expansion valve and the other end is connected between the gas-side shut-off valve and the compressor, and a bypass solenoid valve configured to open and close the bypass passage.

摘要: A refrigerant leakage notifying device includes a refrigerant sensor, a determination unit, a notification unit, and an output unit. The refrigerant sensor detects a refrigerant and outputs a detection signal according to a detection result. The determination unit receives the detection signal outputted from the refrigerant sensor and determines leakage of the refrigerant in accordance with the detection signal received. The notification unit notifies leakage of the refrigerant with at least one of sound and light in a case in which the determination unit has determined that the refrigerant is leaking. The output unit is provided separately from the refrigerant sensor. The output unit outputs a test signal to the determination unit. The test signal is a signal that the determination unit has determined that the refrigerant is leaking in a case in which the determination unit receives the signal.
