Abstract: A mobile terminal including a touch screen display unit configured to display a home screen page among a plurality of home screen pages; and a controller configured to receive a touch input on the displayed home screen page, limit or prevent a layout of the content on the displayed home screen page from being changed based on the received touch input and instead execute a function related to the received touch input, when the displayed home screen page includes a first attribute indicating the layout of content on the home screen page is limited or prevented from being changed, and change the layout of the content on the displayed home screen page based on the received touch input, when the displayed home screen page includes a second attribute indicating the layout of the content on the home screen page can be change.
