Abstract: Disclosed is an induction heating device. The disclosed induction heating device senses whether a container placed on a heating coil is off-center, and if so, the direction in which the container is off-center, on the basis of a change in the resonance current of a plurality of sensing coils disposed along the circumferential direction above the heating coil. Each of the plurality of sensing coils includes a plurality of first layer sensing coils and a plurality of second layer sensing coils. Each of the plurality of first layer sensing coils is electrically connected to a corresponding second layer sensing coil among the plurality of second layer sensing coils. The first layer sensing coil and the second layer sensing coil that are connected to each other are vertically misaligned and have opposite winding directions.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an induction heating device and a control method thereof. In one embodiment, at a time of a simultaneous operation of a first working coil operating at a first driving frequency and a second working coil operating at a second driving frequency, control for removing interference noise is performed based on a difference between the first driving frequency and the second driving frequency. An induction heating device of one embodiment may adjust the duty ratio of a switching signal provided to a first inverter circuit after adjusting the first driving frequency to adjust the actual output value of the first working coil to a value the same as the required output value of the first working coil.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an induction heating device. A loaded-object sensor according to the present disclosure is arranged concentrically and centrally in the working coil. Thus, the sensing coil and the working coil are adjacent to each other. When a current for the heating operation is applied to the working coil, an induction voltage is generated in the sensing coil by magnetic force generated by the current applied to the working coil. According to the present disclosure, a resistor circuit is used to reduce the induction voltage generated in the sensing coil when the heating operation of the working coil is performed.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an induction heating apparatus and a method of controlling the same. A controller of the induction heating apparatus according to the present disclosure may set an operation mode of an inverter circuit to a half bridge mode when a required power value of a working coil is set to a value less than a reference power value such that a driving frequency of the working coil decreases while an actual power value of the working coil is kept the same as the required power value. Additionally, the controller of the induction heating apparatus may adjust a duty ratio of a switching signal input to a switching element included in the inverter circuit, thereby adjusting the actual power value of the working coil.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an electric pot having an improved relay installation position. The electric pot includes a pot main body that is provided with a magnetic field generator generating a magnetic field at a lower portion of the pot main body, and a supporter that includes a magnetism detection sensor detecting magnitude of a magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generator and, based on the detected magnitude of a magnetic field, generating a voltage and that includes a comparator comparing the voltage generated by the magnetism detection sensor with a predetermined reference voltage and, based on the comparison, controlling a switchover operation of a relay part, thereby controlling the relay part through a simple circuit configuration and through magnetic field generation and detection means without an additional communication means.
