A control method of a head mounted display (HMD) is disclosed. The control method of the HMD includes detecting a first route of a first moving object and a second route of a second moving object in front of the HMD, detecting a third route along which user's eye gaze moves, setting the first moving object as a reference object if the detected first route is substantially identical with the detected third route, setting the second moving object as the reference object if the detected second route is substantially identical with the detected third route, and performing an eye gaze calibration based on a route of the set reference object and the detected third route.

A video display device performing wireless communication with a plurality of external devices is provided. The video display device includes a display unit, a memory formed according to driving of an external device and configured to store state information of the external device, a tuner configured to receive advertisement data including a plurality of content items selectively outputtable to the display unit, in real time; and a controller configured to control the display unit to output a content item matched to state information of the external device.

Disclosed is a control method of a portable device, including activating a normal camera mode of a camera application, activating a normal standby mode upon detecting a normal lock event in the normal camera mode, activating a temporary standby mode upon detecting a temporary lock event in the normal camera mode, and releasing the temporary standby mode and activating the temporary camera mode upon detecting a first temporary unlock event in the temporary standby mode. In this case, a first image captured in the normal camera mode is stored in a first folder and a second image captured in the temporary camera mode is stored in a second folder. The first folder and the second folder are different folders.

The present invention relates to an electronic frame and an image displaying method of an electronic frame. The electronic frame according to one exemplary embodiment of the present invention detects, through an optical sensing unit, parts that are hidden by a frame, sets only a display area that is not hidden by the frame as a valid area, resizes an image so that the image matches the valid area of the display, and displays the image. Accordingly, even if the size of the frame is changed, a phenomenon in which a part of the image is not shown due to the frame could be prevented, as an image-resizing is adjustably performed.

An image display apparatus and a method for operating an image display apparatus are disclosed. According to embodiments of the present invention, the image display apparatus comprises: a microphone; a display unit configured to output a pointer on a screen; and a controller generating a representative image corresponding to a first voice signal and attaching the representative image to the pointer when the first voice signal is input into the microphone in a state in which the pointer is output on the screen. Here, the controller enables the representative image attached to the pointer to be displayed along a moving path of the pointer in response to the movement of the pointer on the screen and, when a specific object on the screen is selected using the pointer to which the representative image is attached, enables a function related to the representative image corresponding to the first voice signal to be applied to the selected specific object while a display corresponding to the selection is output.
