Abstract:
The present invention relates to a monitoring apparatus and a controlling method therefor. The present invention comprises: a device body mounted in any one side of an object having a front side and a back side; at least two cameras, equipped in the device, for receiving images of the direction in which the front side of the object is directed and the direction in which the back side of the object is directed; a sensor unit for sensing the object and the situation of the object's surroundings; and a control unit for driving at least one of the cameras in an imaging standby mode when a target object approaches within a predetermined distance from the object, switching the at least one camera to an imaging activation mode when a preset situation occurs as a result of the sensing of the sensor unit, and performing functions corresponding to a currently occurring situation by using at least one of the images received from the at least one camera and sensing results from the sensor unit.

A mobile terminal including a display unit arranged on the front surface so multiple pieces of visual information corresponding to multiple layers, respectively; and a front-surface input unit so a control command is input into the front-surface input unit and a rear input unit arranged on the rear surface so the control command is input into the rear input unit; and a controller to apply a function corresponding to an input to first visual information displayed on a first layer, and activate a second layer arranged under the first layer while maintaining a state in which the first visual information is displayed on the first layer in response to input to the rear input unit.

A method for controlling display of content, the content including a plurality of display pages of a sequence, the method comprising: displaying a first display page on the display screen, receiving a first user input for changing from the first display page to a second display page of the content, the second display page being a neighboring display page of the first display page in the sequence, detecting the second user input when the second display page is a locked display page, extracting the fingerprint information from the second user input when the second user input is detected, and displaying the second display page when the second display page is accessible based on the fingerprint information or a third display page when the second display page is not accessible based on the fingerprint information.
