Abstract: The present invention relates to a smart refrigerator having a function of providing information, which a user needs, through an app by using control data inside the refrigerator. The smart refrigerator according to the present invention has: a night function of allowing a user to set a mode required at night; an app display function of showing state information of the refrigerator on a display window of the refrigerator or on a mobile app (application) of a user through wired/wireless communication; an inducing function of, through real-time monitoring of a state of the refrigerator, inducing a user to take a specific action when the state of the refrigerator is out of a normal state; and the like. According to the present invention as described above, a user can identify a state of a refrigerator from a distance, and can take action when abnormalities occur in the state of the refrigerator, storage of food, or the like.

Abstract: A refrigerator includes: a cabinet defining a first storage space, a door including a drawer part that defines a second storage space inside the first storage space and a door part that is mounted on a front surface of the drawer part to open and close the second storage space, a door gasket sealing a gap between the cabinet and the door, a draw-out motor configured to provide a driving force for a drawing out operation of the door, and a controller configured to control the draw-out motor. The controller is configured to count a number of rotations of the draw-out motor for a set period of time based on the draw-out motor being started for opening of the door according to received input, and stop and re-operate, based on a draw-out distance of the door being shorter than a set distance, the draw-out motor.
