摘要: A device includes one or more processors configured to obtain sound information from an audio source. The one or more processors are further configured to select, based on a latency criterion associated with a playback device, a compression mode in which a representation of the sound information is compressed prior to transmission to the playback device or a bypass mode in which the representation of the sound information is not compressed prior to transmission to the playback device. The one or more processors are further configured to generate audio data that includes, based on the selected one of the compression mode or the bypass mode, a compressed representation of the sound information or an uncompressed representation of the sound information. The one or more processors are also configured to send the audio data as streaming data, via wireless transmission, to the playback device.

摘要: The technology described in this document can be embodied in a method that includes receiving an input signal representing audio captured by a microphone of an active noise reduction (ANR) headphone, processing, by one or more processing devices, a portion of the input signal to determine a noise level in the input signal, and determining that the noise level satisfies a threshold condition. The method also includes, in response to determining that the noise level satisfies the threshold condition, generating an output signal in which ANR processing on the input signal is controlled in accordance with a target loudness level of the output signal, and driving an acoustic transducer of the ANR headphone using the output signal.

The plurality of solar panels includes a top solar panel configured to couple to the top panel and a continuous solar panel configured to couple to at least two sides of the housing. The continuous solar panel receives solar energy from the sun regardless of what direction the outdoor speaker system is facing such that the outdoor speaker system is provided with sufficient power.

摘要: An innovative system for transmitting encrypted 1-bit audio over an Ethernet network comprises using an omni-directional micro-electrical-mechanical system acoustic sensor element to provide an analog input signal to a sigma-delta modulator that then creates a pulse density modulated 1-bit data stream, at an audio oversampling rate, to a first input of a first exclusive-or (XOR) logic gate. The second input of the XOR logic gate is simultaneously presented with a first pseudo-random 1-bit data stream, at the same audio oversampling rate, thereby resulting in an encrypted pulse density modulated (PDM) 1-bit data stream at the output of the XOR logic gate. The encrypted PDM 1-bit data stream is clocked into a first-in first-out (FIFO) memory at the audio oversampling rate and is clocked out of the first FIFO memory as Ethernet PDM frame data packages at a predetermined Ethernet PHY transfer rate.

摘要: A noise-reducing preamp system includes: a power supply circuit configured to provide electrical power to the noise-reducing preamp system and including a 0 volt reference; a signal amplification circuit including: a preamplifier circuit having an external reference input terminal and configured to receive an analog input signal, and a variable gain controller circuit configured to control the gain of the preamplifier circuit, wherein the signal amplification circuit is configured to amplify the analog input signal to generate an analog amplified signal; and a DC offset and biasing circuit coupled to the preamplifier circuit and the 0 volt reference of the power supply circuit, the DC offset and biasing circuit configured to: receive the 0 volt reference as a feedback signal, process the analog amplified signal to remove a DC offset and generate an analog output signal, and provide the analog output signal to the external reference input terminal of the preamplifier circuit of the signal amplification circuit; wherein the noise-reducing preamp system is configured to provide the analog amplified signal to an external device.

摘要: The present invention relates to a head-mountable information processing apparatus allowing a user to hear a desired sound even if ambient sound unnecessary for the user is present. An audio input interface includes sound microphones worn in the vicinity of the user's ear, collects the ambient sound that occurs outside the head-mountable information processing apparatus, and converts the ambient sound into an input audio signal. An audio output interface, including headphones, converts a generated output audio signal for output, and emits the audio output toward the user. Based on a volume level of the input audio signal and a volume level of the output audio signal, a controller determines whether or not a state in which the ambient sound is preventing the audio for output from being heard is occurring, and based on a determination result, the controller controls a sound emission operation of the audio output interface.

摘要: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for low-latency parameter updates. In some aspects, a wireless communication device, such as a handset or an access point (AP), may transmit, to one or more wireless audio devices, an indication of a set of updated parameters associated with an extended personal area network (XPAN) of the wireless communication device. The wireless communication device may embed the indication of the set of updated parameters via a real-time protocol (RTP) header or in a padding section of a payload data of an audio data packet. A wireless audio device may extract the set of updated parameters from the audio data packet and may transmit an acknowledgement (ACK) to the wireless communication device. As a result of receiving an ACK from the wireless audio device(s), the wireless communication device may communicate with the wireless audio device(s) in accordance with the updated parameters.

摘要: An electronic device includes a sampling circuit and a summing circuit coupled with the sampling circuit. The sampling circuit samples a pulse width of a first input pulse of a PWM input signal since a first time point on a rising edge of a clock pulse of a clock signal. The summing circuit generates a first output pulse of a PWM output signal since a second time point on a falling edge of the clock pulse. A pulse width of the first output pulse is a summation of the pulse width of the first input pulse and a pulse width of a second input pulse of the PWM input signal, and the second input pulse is the next pulse after the first input pulse.
