Abstract: The present disclosure provides a motor-operated compressor, comprising a main housing, a motor unit disposed at one end of the main housing, a rotating shaft coupled to the motor unit, a fixed scroll disposed at another end of the main housing facing the motor unit, an orbiting scroll coupled to the rotating shaft, and a rear housing disposed to face one side surface of the orbiting scroll opposite to a side of the orbiting scroll facing the fixed scroll. The rotating shaft may be rotatably coupled to the fixed scroll, and the orbiting scroll may be configured to perform an orbiting motion with respect to the fixed scroll. The orbiting scroll may be configured to form a compression space together with the fixed scroll and may comprise a discharge port. The rear housing may comprise a space portion configured to communicate with the discharge port of the orbiting scroll.

Abstract: A motor-operated compressor is provided and includes an orbiting scroll and a rear housing supporting a rear surface of the orbiting scroll. The rear housing includes a discharge space communicating with a discharge port of the orbiting scroll formed at a central portion of a surface facing the orbiting scroll, an oil separation space formed at one side of the discharge space to communicate with the discharge space, and an oil storage space formed at an edge portion of the surface facing the orbiting scroll. An oil return passage is provided between the oil separation space and the oil storage space, so as to guide oil separated in the oil separation space to the oil storage space. Accordingly, a space for storing oil separated from a discharged refrigerant is sufficiently secured while allowing the rear housing defining the oil storage space to be easily fabricated.

Abstract: An oil separating apparatus and an electric compressor are disclosed. The oil separating apparatus includes a plurality of protrusions provided in a cylinder. A mixed fluid of a refrigerant and oil flowing into the cylinder may collide with the plurality of protrusions as well as an inner wall of the cylinder. A collision probability of the mixed fluid of the refrigerant and the oil with an internal structure of the cylinder and the number of collisions are increased, thereby enhancing efficiency of separating the refrigerant and the oil.

Abstract: A motor-operated compressor includes a compression part including a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll that form a compression chamber configured to compress fluid by an orbiting motion of the orbiting scroll relative to the fixed scroll. A motor part is disposed at one side of the compression part, and configured to generate a drive force to cause the orbiting scroll to make the orbiting motion. A rotary shaft is connected to the motor part and the orbiting scroll to transmit the drive force generated by the motor part to the orbiting scroll. A main frame is disposed between the compression part and the motor part in an axial direction of the rotary shaft, and configured to support the fixed scroll in the axial direction of the rotary shaft. A discharge chamber is formed between the fixed scroll and the main frame, and fluid discharged from the compression part passes through the discharge chamber to outside of the motor-operated compressor.
