Abstract: A scroll compressor is disclosed. The scroll compressor may include an oil supply hole penetrating from an oil passage to an outer circumferential surface of a rotating shaft, and an oil supply groove communicating with the oil supply hole and formed along the outer circumferential surface of the rotating shaft. The oil supply groove may be provided in plurality axially spaced apart by a preset distance. This can prevent the oil supply groove from invading an oil film section and increase centrifugal force against oil in the oil supply groove, thereby suppressing friction loss and wear between a main frame and the rotating shaft.

Abstract: A motor-operated compressor includes a casing having an inner space including a suction space and a discharge space. A first scroll is disposed in the inner space of the casing. A second scroll is configured to orbit in engagement with the first scroll to form a pair of two compression chambers between the first scroll and the second scroll. A rotary shaft is coupled to the second scroll and configured to transfer a rotational force of a driving motor to the second scroll. An intermediate pressure space is formed on one side of the second scroll and in fluid communication with the discharge space. Oil entering the intermediate pressure space from the discharge space forms back pressure supporting the second scroll toward the first scroll, and a portion of the oil flows into the suction space.

Abstract: A scroll compressor includes a discharge guide disposed in a high-pressure part to guide refrigerant discharged from a compression part to a refrigerant discharge pipe, and the discharge guide may extend by a preset height from an inner circumferential surface of a casing constituting the high-pressure part toward one side surface of a high and low pressure separation plate. This can guide discharge refrigerant discharged to the high-pressure part to quickly flow to the refrigerant discharge pipe before being spread in an entire space of the high-pressure part, thereby preventing the high and low pressure separation plate from being overheated by discharge refrigerant of high temperature. This can result in preventing suction refrigerant of a low-pressure part from being heated by heat of discharge refrigerant transferred through the high and low pressure separation plate, thereby reducing a specific volume of the suction refrigerant and improving compressor efficiency.

Abstract: A motor-operated compressor is provided and includes an orbiting scroll and a rear housing supporting a rear surface of the orbiting scroll. The rear housing includes a discharge space communicating with a discharge port of the orbiting scroll formed at a central portion of a surface facing the orbiting scroll, an oil separation space formed at one side of the discharge space to communicate with the discharge space, and an oil storage space formed at an edge portion of the surface facing the orbiting scroll. An oil return passage is provided between the oil separation space and the oil storage space, so as to guide oil separated in the oil separation space to the oil storage space. Accordingly, a space for storing oil separated from a discharged refrigerant is sufficiently secured while allowing the rear housing defining the oil storage space to be easily fabricated.

Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may include an orbiting scroll, a non-orbiting scroll, a back pressure chamber assembly, a back pressure passage, and a flow resistance portion. The back pressure passage may provide communication between a compression chamber and a back pressure chamber, and the flow resistance portion may be disposed at a middle portion of the back pressure passage to reduce an amount of refrigerant flowing through the back pressure passage. This may reduce a substantial cross-sectional area of the back pressure passage while improving machining of the back pressure passage, thereby decreasing an amount of refrigerant flowing between the compression chamber and the back pressure chamber. Accordingly, pressure pulsation in the back pressure chamber may be lowered and sealing stability between the orbiting scroll and the non-orbiting scroll may be enhanced, thereby improving compression performance.
