Abstract: A vehicular rear slider window assembly includes an upper rail and a lower rail and a fixed window panel. The rails are attached at an inner surface of the fixed window panel above and below an opening. First and second movable window panels are movable along the rails. The drive system includes a drive element at the first movable window panel, a gear element rotatably mounted at a rail of the window assembly, and first and second toothed tracks attached at the respective movable window panel and extending toward and overlapping the other movable window panel. When the drive system is operated, the drive element imparts movement of the first movable window panel along the rails. Movement of the first movable window panel causes a corresponding movement of the second movable window panel in an opposite direction along the rails via engagement of the gear element with the toothed tracks.

Abstract: A vehicular slider window assembly includes a frame portion, a fixed window panel fixed relative to the frame portion, and a movable window panel. A drive system is operable to move the movable window panel between an opened position and a closed position. The drive system includes (i) a housing attached at the fixed window panel, (ii) a drive motor disposed in the housing, (iii) a threaded shaft disposed in the housing and rotatably driven by the drive motor, (iv) a connecting element that threadedly receives the threaded shaft therethrough and (v) a window connector that is affixed to the movable window panel and that pivotally connects to the connecting element. Rotation of the threaded shaft imparts a translational movement of the connecting element along the threaded shaft to move the movable window panel between the opened and closed positions.

Abstract: A slider window assembly for a vehicle includes a movable window panel that is movable at a fixed window panel between closed and opened positions. A lower end region of the movable window panel moves along a channel portion of a lower rail and an end stop is disposed at an end of the channel portion. The end stop includes a rigid base portion attached at the lower rail and a resilient elastomeric stop portion attached at the base portion and configured to engage an end portion of the movable window panel when the movable window panel is moved to its fully opened or fully closed position. The base portion and the stop portion are separately formed in separate forming processes. When the base portion of the end stop is attached at the lower rail, the stop portion is fixedly attached at the base portion and is not removable therefrom.
