摘要: A vehicular interior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head having a mirror casing and a mirror reflective element. The mirror casing includes a sidewall having an outer end region that circumscribes an open portion of the mirror casing. The mirror reflective element is disposed at the outer end region of the sidewall at the open portion of the mirror casing. The mirror reflective element includes at least a first glass substrate having a front surface and a rear surface and a substrate thickness spanning between the front surface of the first glass substrate and the rear surface of the first glass substrate. A circuit element is disposed within the mirror head. The circuit element includes a planar substrate having circuitry thereat. A plane of the planar substrate of the circuit element is non-parallel to a plane of the rear surface of the first glass substrate.

摘要: A vehicular lighted exterior door handle system includes a lighted exterior door handle assembly and a light module disposed at the door handle assembly. The light module includes a circuit board having a plurality of illumination sources disposed thereat. Individual illumination sources of the plurality of illumination sources are electrically operable to emit light. When the individual illumination sources are electrically operated with the lighted exterior door handle assembly mounted at the door of the equipped vehicle, the light module emits light at least outboard away from the door of the equipped vehicle. With the lighted exterior door handle assembly mounted at the door of the equipped vehicle, the light module is operable to indicate a charge level of a battery of the equipped vehicle.

摘要: A vehicular closure system includes a cover panel disposed at a charge port of a vehicle and movable between a closed position, where the cover panel conceals the charge port, and an opened position. An actuator is operable to move the cover panel between the closed and opened positions. A motor of the actuator rotates an output gear about an axis of rotation. An output element is connected to the cover panel and rotates about the axis of rotation as the cover panel moves. When the motor of the actuator is operated to move the cover panel, the output element rotates in tandem with the output gear. When the cover panel is manually moved, the output element rotates about the axis of rotation relative to the output gear.

摘要: A vehicular rear liftgate window assembly includes a glass window panel configured to be pivotable between a closed position and an opened position. A heater grid is disposed at an interior side of the glass window panel, the heater grid including a plurality of electrically conductive traces. A pair of busbars are established at the interior side of the glass window panel at opposite side regions of the electrically conductive traces of the heater grid. An aperture is established through the glass window panel at or near an upper region of each busbar, and electrical connectors are electrically connected at the upper regions of the busbars. The electrical connectors are configured to route a respective electrical wire from an exterior side of the glass window panel and through the respective aperture for electrical connection to the respective busbar at the interior side of the glass window panel.

Each individual micro-LED of the plurality of micro-LEDs, when the vehicular display assembly is operated to emit light, may pass less than 4 mA electrical current. The vehicular display assembly is configured to be disposed at a portion of a vehicle equipped with the vehicular display assembly. With the vehicular display assembly disposed at the portion of the equipped vehicle, light emitted by the plurality of micro-LEDs, when the vehicular display assembly is operated to emit light, is viewable at the portion of the equipped vehicle.

摘要: A vehicular sensing and control system includes a sensor module having (i) a switch face, (ii) a force sensing sensor, (iii) a haptic feedback device, and (iv) a microcontroller. Responsive to a user applying a first finger force the switch face, a first signal generated by the force sensing sensor is provided to the microcontroller. The microcontroller, based on the first signal, causes the haptic feedback device to generate a first haptic feedback associated with a first function of the vehicle and controls the first function of the vehicle. Responsive to the driver applying a second finger force to the switch face, a second signal generated by the force sensing sensor is provided to the microcontroller. The microcontroller, based on the second signal, causes the haptic feedback device to generate a second haptic feedback associated with a second function of the vehicle and controls the second function of the vehicle.

摘要: A vehicular interior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head adjustable relative to a mounting assembly. The mounting assembly includes a base portion configured to attach at an interior portion of a vehicle and an arm having a pivot element. The mirror head is adjustably attached at the pivot element of the arm via a ball-and-socket pivot joint. The arm is pivotally attached at the base portion via a uni-axial pivot joint and pivots relative to the base portion about a pivot axis of the uni-axial pivot joint. The uni-axial pivot joint limits pivoting of the arm relative to the base portion about other axes. The uni-axial pivot joint includes a retention mechanism that is configured to retain the arm in a selected position relative to the base portion. The mirror head is adjusted via pivoting of the mirror head at the ball-and-socket pivot joint.

An actuator is electrically operable to move the mirror head relative to a mounting base between a folded position and an extended position. The actuator includes a biasing mechanism that, when the mirror moves between the extended and folded positions, biases the mirror head relative to the mounting base in a direction parallel to a longitudinal axis of the pivot tube. The biasing mechanism includes a shell fixed relative to the mounting base, a longitudinally movable portion coupled to the mirror head and a torsion spring that biases the longitudinally movable portion in the direction parallel to the longitudinal axis.

摘要: A vehicular charge port closure system includes a cover panel and an actuator that is electrically operable to move the cover panel between a closed position and an opened position. The actuator includes a motor operable to drive an input gear of a gear train, an output element coupled to the cover panel and a clutch element coupled to the output element and to an output gear of the gear train. The output element moves together and in tandem with the cover panel. The motor, when operated, drives the input gear to drive the output gear and drive the clutch element to impart movement of the output element and the cover panel. The clutch element, when the cover panel is manually moved, decouples the output element from the output gear and manual movement of the cover panel does not impart movement of the gear train.

摘要: A vehicular driver monitoring system includes an interior rearview mirror assembly. A PCB is accommodated by a mirror head and a heat generating electronic component is disposed at the PCB. A heat sink is thermally coupled with the PCB and, when the heat generating electronic component generates heat, the heat sink draws heat away from the PCB. A first plurality of vents are formed through a lower portion of the mirror casing and a second plurality of vents are formed through an upper portion of the mirror casing so that cooling airflow is drawn into the mirror head via the first plurality of vents formed through the lower portion and exits out of the mirror head via the second plurality of vents formed through the upper portion to draw heat away from the PCB and out of the mirror head.
