    Abstract: A chuck assembly for use with a rotary power tool. The chuck assembly includes a chuck body, a plurality of jaws, and a plate. The chuck body has a plurality of passageways, a plurality of jaws, and a plate. The plurality of jaws are each received within one of the plurality of passageways for co-rotation with the chuck body about the axis, each of the jaws comprises a groove extending in a direction perpendicular to the axis and along a first radial side, an inner side, and a second radial side of the jaw. The plate comprises a plurality of notches, each notch receiving the groove of one of the plurality of jaws to couple the plate to the plurality of jaws, the plate moving with the plurality of jaws to set an axial stop for the tool bit.

    Abstract: The handheld vacuum cleaner (10) includes a housing (22), a handle (42), a suction opening (90), and a debris separator (14). The debris separator (14) includes a generally horizontal cyclone (66). An airflow rotate about a cyclone axis (70) to separate debris from the airflow. The cyclone axis (70) being generally perpendicular to an inlet axis (222). A suction source (170) is operable to generate the airflow. The suction source (170) including a suction source axis (186), a motor (178), and a fan (182) rotated by the motor (178) about the suction source axis (186). The suction source axis (186) is positioned at an obtuse angle relative to the inlet axis (222) and perpendicular to the cyclone axis (70). A debris collector (18) is in fluid communication with the debris outlet (126). The debris collector (18) is configured to receive the debris separated from the airflow. The debris collector (18) extends below the suction source (170).

    Abstract: Systems and methods for providing notifications regarding battery pack charging status. One charging system includes a battery charger and an external device. The battery charger includes a housing, a battery pack interface, a wireless communication controller, and a charger controller. The charger controller receives status information associated with power tool battery packs and transmits the status information to an external device. The external device includes a display and an external device controller. The external device controller receives the status information from the charger controller and controls the display to display the status information via a user interface.

    Abstract: A torque wrench including a head, a handle, a primary beam, a secondary beam, and a torque adjustment mechanism. The primary beam couples the head and the handle for co-rotation about the rotational axis and the primary beam includes a first end adjacent the head and a second end adjacent the handle. The secondary beam is coupled to the head for rotation with the head about the rotational axis and the secondary beam is movable relative to the primary beam and the handle. The torque adjustment mechanism is operable to move the primary beam relative to the secondary beam to adjust a torque setting. The torque adjustment mechanism includes a thumb adjustment wheel that a user rotates about a first axis to adjust the torque setting by moving the second end of the primary beam relative to the handle along a second axis that is offset from the first axis.
