摘要:
A method is provided for making a passenger car body structure which has a panel assembly forming at least part of a side, the roof, and end of the floorplate. Each panel has inner and outer spaced metal sheets and a cellular metal core brazed to the sheets and maintaining them spaced apart. To join the panels, a metal connecting member is joined to at least one of the inner and outer sheets and has a projection for use in welding the panel to the neighboring panel. The projection extends in the lateral direction of the panel and is preferably of material thicker than the general sheet thickness of the sheets. A frame member of the body structure may be welded to the panels at the joint.

A railway car body structure has a panel assembly forming at least part of a side, the roof, an end or the floorplate. Each panel has inner and outer spaced metal sheets and a cellular metal core bonded to the sheets and maintaining them spaced apart. To join the panels, a metal connecting member is joined to at least one of the inner and outer sheets by continuous metal-to-metal bonding and has a projection for use in welding the panel to the neighboring panel. The projection extends in the lateral direction of the panel and is of material thicker than the general sheet thickness of the sheets. A frame member of the body structure may be welded to the panels at the joint.
摘要:
A railway car body structure running at a high speed and a production method thereof. To reduce vibration and noise and to prevent influences of outdoor pressure variations on passengers in the case of a high-speed railway car, the weight of the car body structure must be reduced and its pressure resistance must be improved. Each of the side units, roof unit and end unit and floor plates of an underframe of the car body structure includes plate members obtained by joining two surface materials, a core material and binding materials through metal-to-metal bonding. The sheet thickness of the surface material on an outdoor side is greater than a sheet thickness of the surface material on an indoor side. The plate members are constructed as a block, and a plurality of blocks are joined so as to form the side units, roof unit or the floor plates of the underframe.

A light weight car body for railway rolling stock wherein the shearing rigidity with respect to a vertical load in a portion near a body bolster of the car body is larger than the shearing rigidity of a portion other than the portion near the body bolster whereby the shearing rigidity of the portion other than the portion near the body bolster of the car body has a sufficient bending rigidity.

A method of manufacturing a portion of a vehicle body, with the portion being at least part of one of a side, an end, a roof, and a floor plate of the body. The method comprises the steps of providing extruded metal plates formed of a light alloy metal with each of the plates having welding edges and integral structural ribs extending parallel to the welding edges on the inner face of the plates, arranging the plates on a jig in position for welding of the welding edges, without an overlap of the welding edges, restraining the plates in a welding position on the jig, and welding the welding edges on the jig by one-sided welding from an inner side of the plates to produce continuous welds. Frame members extending transversely to the structural ribs can be welded on the same side without moving the plate from the jig.

A vehicle body, such as, for example, a railway passenger vehicle body, which includes an external body sheeting formed of opposite sides and a roof and having an internal floor extending between the sides. The sides, above the level of the internal floor, and the roof each include a number of extruded metal plates forming the external body sheeting and integral ribs, extending in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, are provided on inner faces of the extruded metal plates. The extruded metal plates are welded together at weld lines extending in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body.

An underframe construction for rolling stock vehicles comprising side sills disposed in parallel in the longitudinal direction of the underframe at the opposite outermost locations thereof, end sills connecting the side sills at the both ends in the longitudinal direction of the side sills, body bolsters arranged at positions at which a vertical load applied on the underframe is supported, center sills connecting each one of the end sills and each one of the body bolsters adjoining to one of the end sills, and a plurality of support members, each said support member being composed of upper horizontal flange, bottom plate and vertical web. The support members are disposed sequentially in the longitudinal direction of the underframe in such a fashion that the adjoining vertical webs of the support members are in contact to be bonded together and the both ends of the support members are secured to the side sills. The support members are able to support a load to be taken by the conventional cross beams and corrugated plates, thus enabling a reduction in weight and vertical dimension of the underframe.

A railway car body structure is provided which includes an underframe, first and second side structural units and a roof structural unit. Each of the first and second side structural units and the roof structural unit include at least one plate member, each plate members being formed by joining two surface materials, a core material and binding materials through metal-to-metal brazing. The first side structural units is joined to the roof structural unit by a first extruded element, while the second side structural unit is joined to the roof structural unit by a second extruded element. With this construction an extremely strong, yet light, railway car body structure is achieved.
摘要:
A car body of a railway rolling stock wherein the entire car body is divided into a plurality of blocks or modules which are subsequently combined and connected. The individual blocks or modules include a roof construction forming a roof of the car body, side constructions forming respective side walls of the car body, end constructions adapted to be disposed at respective longitudinal ends of the car body to form an end thereof, and an underframe for forming a lower surface of the body. The roof construction, the side constructions and at least one of the side constructions, an underframe are connected through connecting members in which a connected end is extended toward the roof construction, the side constructions or the side constructions and the underframe to be connected, with the entirety being integrally formed by extruded shaped alloy members and arranged to extend in a longitudinal direction of the car body.

A bus-bar protection relay equipment includes a data-acquisition means, a check zone protection means, a fault bus-bar judging means, and a tripping bus-bar judging means. A data-acquisition means transforms analog current signal from the current transformer connected to the bus-bar with two or more dependency regions into digital data at every predetermined cycle. The check zone protection means computes amount Id (vector sum) of operation, and the amount Ir (scalar sum) of inhibition using the digital data transformed by this data-acquisition means. The check zone protection means transforms analog current from the current transformer of a line segment into digital data “n” multiplied with. The amount Id of operation and the amount Ir of inhibition are computed. An actuating signal is outputted when predetermined relationship is satisfied by using the amounts Id and Ir. The fault of the internal and the external to the area which included the computed value two or more dependency regions by a predetermined a percentage differential protection calculation is judged. A fault bus-bar judging means 13 performs a fault bus-bar judging by two or more above-mentioned dependency regions using the operating quantity which computed the operating quantity and computed it in the operating quantity and the check zone protection means which were computed.
