摘要: An additive for lubricating oil may include a phosphite ester compound (A) having a specific structure and a phosphite ester compound (B) having a specific structure, wherein the (A):(B) mass ratio of the phosphite ester compound (A) to the phosphite ester compound (B) is in a range of from 99:1 to 80:20. Such an additive may be provided to a lubricating oil, capable of imparting wear resistance and demulsibility with respect to a base oil for lubricating oil, and to impart durability even in the presence of water.

摘要: A lubricant base oil composed of an ester. The ester includes a component (A) derived from trimethylolpropane in a molar percentage Amol % of 25 to 42 mol %; components (B) derived from monovalent straight-chain saturated fatty acids each having a carbon number of 8 to 12 in a molar percentage Bmol % of 33 to 55 mol %: and a component (C) derived from adipic acid in a molar ratio Cmol % of 12 to 34 mol %. The components (B) include lauric acid in a molar percentage of 5 to 50 mol %, and (BCOOH+CCOOH)/AOH is 0.90 to 1.02. AOH represents a hydroxyl equivalent of the component (A), BCOOH represents a carboxyl group equivalent of the components (B); and CCOOH represents a carboxyl group equivalent of the component (C).

摘要: A lubricating oil composition including 100 mass parts of (A) an ester compound, 0.05 to 1.5 mass parts of (B) an amine salt of an acidic phosphoric ester and 0.01 to 0.50 mass parts of (C) a monoesterified compound, wherein (A) the ester compound is an ester compound of trimethylolpropane, a straight-chain saturated fatty acid having a carbon number of 8 to 10 and adipic acid; (B) the amine salt is an amine salt of an acidic phosphoric ester; and (C) the monoesterified compound is a monoesterified compound of an alkane diol having a carbon number of 3 to 8 and of succinic acid having an alkyl group having a carbon number of 8 to 18 or an alkenyl group having a carbon number of 8 to 18.

摘要: A lubricant base oil which contains an ester. The ester constituting the lubricant base oil includes: a component (A) derived from pentaerythritol in a molar percentage Amol % of 20 to 30 mol %; a component (B) derived from a straight-chain fatty acid having a carbon number of 14 to 22 in a molar percentage Bmol % of 55 to 79 mol %; and a component (C) derived from adipic acid in a molar percentage Cmol % of 1 to 15 mol %. A molar ratio (Cmol/Cmol) of the component (C) derived from adipic acid and the component (B) derived from the straight-chain fatty acid having a carbon number of 14 to 22 is 0.02 to 0.25, and the ester has a hydroxyl value of 10 to 100 mgKOH/g.
