摘要： Devices dispense air treatment chemicals in response to heat generated by a candle. There is a support mounted on the candle that carries a substrate bearing the air treatment chemical. The support holds a heating plate with substrate thereon over the candle, and a chimney in the heating plate (and passage through the substrate) allow heated air to pass through when the candle wax is being combusted. Heat dispersal fins are formed along the chimney. A washer shaped substrate is provided that is made of fiberglass bound with polyvinyl alcohol and bears the air treatment chemical.

摘要： A biodegradable outdoor insect bait station for offering a toxic bait to a target insect. The bait station includes a bait matrix together with a housing for holding the bait matrix. The bait matrix has a core of toxic bait material and a biodegradable coating. When placed outdoors, moisture permeates the coating and liquifies the bait core making the entire matrix a food source for the target insect. The housing for holding the bait matrix may also be made biodegradable.

摘要： An insect repellent patch is disclosed of a size and weight compatible for wearing on the clothing or skin of a user. The patch has a gross area not in excess of 232 cm2 and bearing one or more insect repellents having a vapor pressure at 25° C. of not less than about 1×10−6 mm Hg. The total amount of insect repellent is in an amount effective to provide practical mosquito personal area repellency. Kits of such patches, with instructions for use, and methods of providing practical personal area insect repellency are also disclosed.
