    摘要： A jump screen may be a jump suit formed of one or more fabrics (and combinations of the same) that may limit access of insects to contact with a wearer's skin. The fabrics may be those that may be used for the mesh of window screens. The jump suit may include drawstrings or other closure mechanisms around the ankle portions and/or wrist portions of the jump suit so that insects may not enter through the ankle or wrist openings of the jump suit to contact with the wearer's skin. The jump suit may include a hood portion having a drawstring that may seal or close around the wearer's face area. The jump suit may include hook and loop fasteners for the wearer to put on the jump suit and close it.

    摘要： An insect-repelling leg garment primarily configured with a tubular member and a semi-conical section fabricated from fabric sheeting impregnated with an insect-repelling solution. The semi-conical section includes an elastic strap configured to engage a structural feature of an article of clothing. The tubular member includes a lower portion having a first circumferential passage for accommodating therewithin a drawstring equipped with a drawstring tie for closing and sealing an annular opening formed by a circular wall section and one's leg. An elastic circular band positioned at the lower portion simultaneously engages loops connected to the lower portion and encircles around one's foot such as to oppose the upward tensioning caused by the elastic strap, whereby the insect repellency inherently present within the fabric sheeting and the structural barriers inherently present within the leg garment collectively serve to protect the lower extremities of one's body against biting insects.

    摘要： The combination of a headnet and a jacket consisting of open mesh material to protect a wearer from insects. The headnet has a head receiving compartment with an open bottom. The headnet has a lower skirt portion normally extending downwardly from the head of the wearer. A jacket has a body portion, two arm portions, and a closable neck portion normally having a horizontal cross section slightly greater than the neck of a wearer, but less than a horizontal cross section of the skirt portion, whereupon when the closable neck portion is closed around and over the skirt portion in overlapping condition, the skirt portion will be compressed towards the neck of the wearer to inhibit the passage of insects between the overlapping condition of the headnet and the neck portion of the jacket.

The spacer layer separates the base fabric from the cover fabric with sufficient distance to inhibit insects, spiders, or other small animals from probing through the textile to reach the wearer.

The assembly comprises a polymeric body which contains an insect-active composition, as a volatile plasticizer, which, over time, migrates from the polymeric body to provide the desired degree of insect-active action. The insect-active assembly can be affixed directly to the garment of a person either by being configured to fit over or be affixed to a portion a the person's garment, (e.g., as a hatband) or by having separate means provided to affix it to the garment. Such separate means for affixing the polymeric body to the garment include pressure-sensitive adhesive coatings and hook-and-loop fasteners.

    摘要： An insect proof coverall garment is disclosed. The garment of the present invention is made from a light-weight insect excluding material covering the user's body and limbs with a releasable fastener extending from the user's hips to the neck to aid in putting the garment on and removing the garment. The garment includes a hood attached at the neck to cover the head of the user with an open face portion. The perimeter of the face opening is lined with a VELCRO material so that an insect or other small animal excluding mesh may be releasably attached thereto to protect the head and face of the user from insects or other small animals. The face mesh is readily removable for access to the user's mouth. Openings are formed at the shoulders, elbows and knees, and these openings are covered with an insect excluding mesh to provide ventilation along with maximum flexibility and comfort.
