Abstract: A socket is attached to an end of one pipe to be connected and a plug is attached to an end of other pipe. The socket is provided with a pair of notched grooves at peripheral faces on both sides opposed to each other and a stopper constituting a gate-like shape is mounted to the notched groove. The plug is provided with a first taper portion, a flat portion, and a second taper portion continuously from a front end side thereof in a sectional shape thereof along an axial direction and a groove fit with the stopper is formed at a ridge portion of the second taper portion. An inner periphery of the socket is arranged with a seal ring for sealing an interval between the inner periphery of the socket and an outer periphery of the plug in airtight.

Abstract: By attaching a socket to an end of one pipe to be connected, attaching a plug to an end of other pipe and inserting the plug into the socket, the both members are constituted to fit to connect. An inner periphery of the socket is provided with a seal ring 50 for sealing an interval between the inner periphery of the socket and an outer periphery of the plug in airtight and a hold ring 49 for restricting movement of the seal ring 50 in an axial direction. The hold ring 49 includes a groove 81 in a ring-like shape for constituting a burr storing space at an outer periphery thereof and is welded to the inner periphery of the socket by ultrasonic welding.
