摘要: A process for manufacturing a tire by the steps of producing and assembling the tire structural elements on a toroidal support to form a green tire, and the step of precuring at least an inner surface of the green tire by heating the toroidal support. The radially inner surface of the toroidal support is provided with a plurality of protruding elements to reduce the time required for the outer surface of the toroidal support to reach a temperature which is suitable for ensuring a uniform and homogeneous precuring of the inner surface of the green tire, preferably of the inner surface and the bead regions of the green tire.

摘要: Tyre for motorcycles, having a tread band includes a central annular portion symmetrically located astride an equatorial plane and two shoulder annular portions located on axially opposite sides with respect to the central annular portion. The tread band has a void-to-rubber ratio not greater than 25%. The central annular portion has an axial extension not greater than 65% of the axial development of the tread band and the central portion has at least one module circumferentially repeated. Each shoulder portion has an axial extension not greater than 40% of the axial development of the tread band and the module includes at least one pair of first grooves with substantially circumferential course, at least partially located on opposite sides with respect to the equatorial plane. The central annular portion has a void-to-rubber ratio not smaller than 10% and the module includes a plurality of second grooves located substantially transversally with respect to the equatorial plane. The substantially transverse second grooves define in each module together with said first grooves at least two tread band solid portions. The second grooves have at least one end spaced away from the adjacent first groove by a distance so as to form a substantially continuous tread portion adapted to connect at least two tread band solid portions.

摘要: A carcass ply is applied around an outer surface of a building drum according to an application diameter larger than the fitting diameter of a tyre. Coaxially engaged around each of the end flaps is an annular anchoring structure defining the fitting diameter. A pair of sidewalls is manufactured by laying of a continuous elongated element in the form of approached coils on the carcass sleeve. An outer sleeve, including at least one belt structure possibly associated with a tread band, is coaxially centered around the carcass sleeve. Through axial approaching of two halves forming the building drum, the carcass sleeve is shaped into a toroidal configuration to determine application of same against a radially internal surface of the outer sleeve.

摘要: A tyre for motorcycles includes a carcass structure, a belt structure arranged in a radially outer position with respect to the carcass structure and a tread band arranged in a radially outer position with respect to the belt structure. The belt structure is of the zero degree type and includes at least one reinforcing cord including a core made of non metal material, and a plurality of metal wires substantially parallel to one another and helically wound around the core with a predetermined winding pitch. The metal wires are in such a number as to not completely surround the core. In particular, the metal wires are arranged around the core so that, in any cross-section of the reinforcing cord, they are located at just an angular portion of an ideal circumference that circumscribes the core.

摘要: A green tyre is built on a rigid toroidal support externally having a forming surface of a conformation corresponding to the inner conformation of the tyre. The built tyre is removed from the rigid toroidal support and engaged on an expandable toroidal support comprising a bladder. The green tyre engaged on the expandable toroidal support is introduced into a vulcanization mould and submitted to a vulcanization cycle.

摘要: A motorcycle tyre has a tread band including a central portion and two shoulder portions arranged at axially opposite sides of the central portion. The central portion includes a first plurality of grooves extended according to a substantially longitudinal direction and alternatively arranged at opposite sides of the equatorial plane of the tyre. Each groove of the first plurality of grooves has a substantially curvilinear course such as to form a concavity. The central portion further includes a sub-portion substantially free of grooves placed astride the equatorial plane of the tyre. Each of the shoulder portions includes a second plurality of grooves arranged obliquely relative to the equatorial plane of the tyre.
