摘要: According to embodiments of the present invention, a stranded conductor is formed in which the occurrence of defects, such as strand unevenness of filaments and outward protrusion of filaments, is inhibited. According to embodiments of the present invention, a stranded conductor (1a) includes soft filaments (2a) stranded together. The soft filaments (2a) include a soft filament made of an aluminum material, disposed along a center (101), and include six soft filaments, twelve soft filaments, and eighteen soft filaments made of an aluminum material, disposed around and concentrically with the center. The filaments are softened filaments that are softened. A lay length (Pa) is from 6.2 times to 15.7 times a conductor diameter of the stranded conductor.

摘要: A steel cord for reinforcing a breaker or belt ply in a rubber tire having a core group and a sheath group. The core group consists of two to four core steel filaments with a first diameter dc and the sheath group consists of one to six sheath steel filaments with a second diameter ds. The ratio dc/ds of the first diameter dc to the second diameter ds ranges from 1.10 to 1.70. The two core steel filaments are untwisted or have a twisting step greater than 300 mm. The sheath group is twisted around the core group with a cord twisting step in a cord twisting direction. The ratio of the difference in residual torsions of the core group and the sheath group to the difference in saturation level between the core group and the sheath group ranges from 0.10 to 0.65, preferably from 0.10 to 0.60.

摘要: A mooring loop is provided for use with connecting a mooring line to a bollard. The mooring loop may stretch and function as a time delay fuse when excessive loads are applied to the mooring line. The mooring loop is comprised of a reactive fiber component in the shape of a continuous loop that includes a plurality of at least one of: an undrawn hydrophobic polymer fiber or a substantially undrawn hydrophobic polymer fiber. At least two jackets are in surrounding relation to portions of the reactive fiber component. The at least two jackets include respective end portions which overlap. As the mooring loop stretches, a visual indicator on an end portion of one of the jackets pulls out of and away from the end portion of the other one of the jackets. The visual indicator serves as a warning that excessive loads are being applied to the mooring line.

The synthetic fiber rope includes a plurality of strands twisted or braided together, each of the strands including: a tubular woven fabric woven with warp and weft yarns made of synthetic fibers; and a core material disposed in the tubular woven fabric, the core material being constituted by a plurality of parallel-bundled yarns made of the synthetic fibers in the tubular woven fabric.

A rope obtainable by the process and products comprising the rope are also disclosed.

摘要: A tyre for motorcycles includes a carcass structure, a belt structure arranged in a radially outer position with respect to the carcass structure and a tread band arranged in a radially outer position with respect to the belt structure. The belt structure is of the zero degree type and includes at least one reinforcing cord including a core made of non metal material, and a plurality of metal wires substantially parallel to one another and helically wound around the core with a predetermined winding pitch. The metal wires are in such a number as to not completely surround the core. In particular, the metal wires are arranged around the core so that, in any cross-section of the reinforcing cord, they are located at just an angular portion of an ideal circumference that circumscribes the core.
