Abstract: An apparatus may be provided that is configured to obtain a set of samples associated with a paging occasion (PO). The apparatus may further be configured to process at least one reference signal indicating time and frequency information. The apparatus may also be configured to process the set of samples associated with the PO based on the time and frequency information. The apparatus may be configured to adjust, based on processing the set of samples associated with the PO, a current mode of operation in a set of modes of operation for the wireless device.
