Abstract: A portable electronic system is provided. The portable electronic system includes a wearable device and a host. The wearable device includes a connector and a magnetic-reed switch. The connector includes a first detection point. The host detects a voltage at the first detection point and a state of the magnetic-reed switch when the host performs a detection operation. The host performs at least one of a plurality of functional operations according to a detection result of the detection operation.
