Abstract: A host apparatus, a user terminal apparatus, a method of controlling a charger, and a method of communication thereof. The host apparatus includes: a connector which includes a terminal to which the user terminal apparatus is connected; a power supplier which supplies power to the connector; a controller which, if the host apparatus operates in a first operation mode when the user terminal apparatus is connected to the connector through the terminal, charges a battery of the user terminal apparatus with the power supplied from the power supplier; and a charging maintainer which, if the host apparatus operates in a second operation mode, charges the battery with power supplied from the power supplier.
