摘要: Disclosed is an isolated interface circuit for a modular energy system. A comparator is configured to couple to a switch and a reference voltage, and an output. A duplicate comparator is configured to couple to the switch and the reference voltage. An expander circuit is coupled to the comparator and the duplicate comparator. An isolator circuit is coupled to the expander circuit. A controller is coupled to the isolator circuit. The controller is configured to compare the output of the comparator with the output of the duplicate comparator and determine activation or deactivation of a surgical instrument coupled to the controller based on the comparison.

摘要: In one embodiment, an apparatus comprises an input power interface for receiving input power, a power control system for transmitting DC (Direct Current) pulse power on multiple phases over a cable to a plurality of powered devices and verifying cable operation during an off-time of pulses in the DC pulse power, and a cable interface for delivery of the DC pulse power on the multiple phases and data over the cable to the powered devices. A method for transmitting multiple phase pulse power is also disclosed herein.

摘要: A distributed power network includes a power bus infrastructure distributed over a region with node points provided to interface with controllable power nodes. Each power node can be connected to an external power device such as a DC power sources, a DC power load, or a rechargeable DC battery. The power nodes form a communication network and cooperate with each other to receive input power from DC power sources and or rechargeable DC batteries connected to the power bus infrastructure and distribute the power received therefrom to the power bus infrastructure for distribution to the DC power loads and to rechargeable DC batteries.

摘要: A method for controlling the output power of power sourcing equipment powering a device through an ethernet cable, comprising: performing a power negotiation between the power sourcing equipment and the powered device, the negotiation comprising establishing a relation between an output voltage of the power sourcing equipment and a loop current from the powered device to the power sourcing equipment by measuring the loop current in a current-sensing device; obtaining indications of whether the powered device needs increased power and whether the power sourcing equipment is able to deliver increased power; if the powered device needs increased power and the power sourcing equipment is of a power sourcing equipment type able to deliver increased power, physically manipulating the current-sensing device such that it senses a manipulated lower loop current; and providing a manipulated higher output power from the power sourcing equipment to the powered device.

An exemplary battery management system of the present disclosure comprises an accelerometer configured to obtain acceleration data, a microcontroller operably connected to the accelerometer and configured to receive the acceleration data from the accelerometer, and a data storage medium in communication with the microcontroller, the data storage medium configured to store the acceleration data therein, wherein when the battery management system is in communication with a battery, the accelerometer can obtain the acceleration data relating to the battery, and the microcontroller can operate to disconnect the battery from a load connected thereto should the acceleration data meet or exceed a threshold limit.

摘要: A memory system includes an interface circuit configured to connect to a host device, a controller electrically connected to the interface circuit, and a nonvolatile semiconductor memory electrically connected to the controller. The controller is configured to transmit a first response in response to a power supplied from the host device via the interface circuit, upon receipt of a first command from the host device after transmitting the first response, determine a status of data stored in the nonvolatile semiconductor memory, and transmit to the host device a second response including the determined status of the data stored in the nonvolatile semiconductor memory.
