Abstract: An electronic apparatus is provided, which includes an inputter, which receives a plurality of successive images, and alternately divides the plurality of successive images into a plurality of divided groups according to an order of input, and a plurality of codec units which sequentially intra-encodes the respective successive images of one group, among the plurality of divided groups, and sequentially inter-encodes the respective successive images of another group, among the plurality of divided groups by using the intra-encoded images.
