Abstract: A cabinet housing which comprises a one-piece core defining all of the side walls and the back wall of the housing and individual sheet-metal members overlying the back wall within the housing and pushed onto each of the side walls from the open end of the housing. The side wall members have flanges reaching behind the back of the one-piece body and are formed with alternating tongues and notches interdigitating with the tongues and notches along the edges of the back wall member.

Abstract: A garbage bin comprises a cabinet having a pull-out rack carrying a bracket on which a rectangular frame is mounted for the suspension of a sack. The side of the frame opposite the bracket is provided with bearings for a lid which is connected by a flexible link with a fixed part of the cabinet so that, upon withdrawal of the rack, the lid is swung open. Between the bearings and the bracket the frame is provided with a pair of upwardly open channels which receive bent-over portions of the mouth of the sack when these portions are draped about the frame.

Abstract: A bathroom cabinet has a door swingable about a vertical axis and a mirror on that door tiltable about its lower horizontal edge into an outwardly inclined position. The tilting of the mirror is controlled by a handgrip at the bottom of the cabinet which is linked by a Bowden cable with a fitting at the upper mirror edge. A locking lever at the top of the cabinet holds the door closed whenever the mirror is swung out from its normal upright position.
