Abstract: A trash can that includes a frame, a liner, and a lid. The frame has a base and a casing supported on the base. The liner is removably disposed within a cavity of the casing. The lid is coupled to and rotatable relative to the frame between a closed position, in which the liner is concealed, and an open position, in which the liner is accessible. The lid is rotatably coupled to the frame by a hinge, such that the hinge and the lid do not extend rearward a rear surface of the casing in the open position.

Abstract: Various trash can assembly embodiments are disclosed. In some embodiments, the trash can assembly includes a body and a lid assembly. The lid assembly can include a lid, and a multicomponent trim ring. The lid assembly can be rotatably connected with the body via a hinge unit. In certain embodiments, a flange of the trim ring is guided into and/or received into the hinge unit. A translating pin of the hinge unit can engage into the flange, thereby providing a rotatable connection between the trim ring and the body. In various embodiments, the translating pin is coupled with a handle to facilitate movement of the pin by a user during engagement of the trim ring and the hinge unit. A positioner can help to position the trash can against or adjacent to a wall or other structure. The movement of both the trim ring and the lid can be dampened.

Abstract: A trash can includes a lid assembly including a lid and a retainer rim and a transition arrangement coupled with the lid assembly that enables the lid to be selectively transited between a normal state and a transition state. In the normal state, the lid is operable between an open state and a close state through a foot pedal. When the lid is pivotally lifted up to have an included angle larger than 90 degrees from the retainer rim, the lid is in the transition state that would not fall back toward the retainer rim and the retainer rim is able to be lifted up to rest on said lid for replacing trash bag until the retainer rim is moved back to site on an upper edge of a shell of the trash can.

Abstract: A collapsible container comprising a frame with a plurality of vertical members connected by pairs of crossed members. Each pair of cross members are pivotally connected at their approximate centers by a pivot pin. The upper and lower ends of the cross members are connected to the vertical members at the foot position and to appropriate slide-able connector, which are attached to the vertical members. A skirt encircles the top of the vertical members. Extending from the skirt can be such features as a durable tapered liner to receive trash, a hooded, insulated liner to be used as a cooler, or a laundry bag.
