    Abstract: A hydraulic operating device for a small vehicle including a bicycle comprises a base member, a mounting structure, an operating member, and a piston. The base member includes a cylinder bore having a cylinder axis. The operating member is pivotally coupled to the base member about a first pivot axis between a rest position and an operated position.
