Abstract: A method of storing information at data and displaying the stored information and an electronic device thereof are provided. The method includes detecting occurrence of a bookmark event while recording or reproducing media data; determining a bookmark segment in the media data to correspond to the occurrence of the bookmark event; and acquiring text information corresponding to voice information of the bookmark segment.
