Abstract: A process execution method and apparatus of an electronic device are provided for performing hardware diagnosis and executing a process based on the hardware diagnosis result. The electronic device includes a plurality of hardware components; a display configured to display information on the hardware components; and a processor configured to diagnose a hardware component selected as a diagnosis target among the hardware components, determine, based on a diagnosis result, whether the diagnosis target is operating normally, and display information indicating whether the diagnosis target is operating normally and a link for providing a service related to the diagnosis target.
