Abstract: Example embodiments provide a method, performed by an edge data network, of rendering an object, and a method of displaying an object rendered on a device. The edge data network may generate a second metadata set corresponding to a predicted position and direction of a device based on a first metadata set, and render a first object corresponding to the second metadata set. Furthermore, the edge data network may receive, from the device, a third metadata set corresponding to the current position and direction of the device, obtain a rendered object corresponding to the current position and direction of the device based on the second metadata set and the third metadata set, and transmit the obtained rendered object to the device.

Abstract: An edge data network for providing a three-dimensional (3D) character image to a user equipment and an operating method thereof are provided. The edge data network obtains key points information including feature point coordinates related to the body parts of a first user, from a first user equipment via a network, and obtains view points information including virtual position coordinate value information of virtual view points from which a second user views a 3D character image from a second user equipment, measures a key points similarity and a view points similarity by respectively comparing the obtained key points information and view points information with key points information and view points information cached in a data cache, and reads out a 3D character image cached in the data cache based on the measured key points similarity and the measured view points similarity, and transmits the read out 3D character image to the second user equipment.

Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments may include a communication interface configured to be electrically connected to at least one communication device establishing a communication channel with a mobile terminal and a processor, wherein the processor may be configured to identify a plurality of communication channels for performing data exchange through a plurality of wireless communications supported by the mobile terminal, identify one of a capacity of the plurality of communication channels or a precision of the plurality of communication channels, and determine a communication channel to be used for determining a location of the mobile terminal, based on an identification result. The plurality of communication channels may include at least two channels for performing data exchange through different types of wireless communication.
